I live about an hour and a half from there and have ridden that train many times over the years.

That train station is postcard material!

Hypothetically, if the A&A restored 14 alongside 18. Would be steam locomotives haul the Christmas runs?

Excellent catch as always! Quick question - how does the A&A heat the passenger cars in the winter? Is it just warm enough from body heat, or is there some sort of baseboard heating courtesy of the generator? Inquiring minds wish to know!

I seem to remember that in that 1970 period, they had a stream engine, a Baldwin I think. I know the village historian may have a record. I am pretty sure that Harry Douglass probably did.

In about 1960 or so my grandfather Frank C Wilson help get this line running with tourist service. Glad to see after all these years it is still in use. David H Wilson

Love railroading in the snow!!! Crazy that they already have snow. I'm in southern New England and most of October and the first few weeks of November it was in the high 60's, low 70's most days. Had snow flurries last night (briefly), but it's been in the high 40's at the coldest.

Sitting here in Lockport with green grass and the decorations look boring without snow on them.

Didn’t expect to see snow this early in arcade, for once im glad No. 18 isn’t running one of the Santa trains this year. Because it would’ve been hard and difficult cult to see in the snow, especially during the evening night after the daylight saving changes.
