Glad to see a new video! I love Zomboid. If you didnt know, we're expecting a new huge update to Project Zomboid hopefully in Q1 of 2025, so there will be a lot of hype surrounding the game soon. Hopefully you can ride that hype train to gain a bunch more subscribers!

I would recommend starting in Rosewood to help you survive longer. It has a fire station, police station and some restaurants for easy weapons, clothing, bags and food. All of which are relatively close to all of the spawn points within Rosewood; and have car parks with potentially working condition cars. Remember you can barricade windows and build fortifications to help defend yourself and store your loot. There are also some custom settings you can apply to your solo game save. I like to turn loot respawn and zombie respawn off to simulate a more realistic experience. For me it is much more enjoyable and satisfying to clear out an entire city of zombies, and have that area become safe, until some random zombies wander in, of course.

UA-cam has recommended me a well-spoken German commentator recording Project Zomboid for the first time. You can imagine how fortunate I feel.

Winning the Civil War with fewer casualties than in real life is a big achievement. I kind of wish the game took the kind of victories you won into account, since it feels a bit silly that the Confederates kept reconstituting their armies after every devastating defeat.

The last time i played this one, they hit my right sooo hard it wasnt funny. The only units defending my center and left were skirmishers. I did have 2 cav units to hit the cannons in the rear, but did not get them all. This was on MG. Good job once again!

Thanks for continuing this campaign! Small tip: troops take increased casualties in water and mud, so pulling your guys back in the trees a little so the enemy has to enter the water to be in musket range, and they can't take cover in those trees on their side of the creek. It also makes their chargers have to go farther into the trees so they're exhausted when/if they make it to you. :)

I like your positions in the trees along the bank, but Ive found it's a little better to pull them back a little bit. They get some elevation along the ridge of that hill there, and prevents the confederates from shooting you across the river from the safety of their own trees. This encourages them to charge, mired by the creek and swamp allowing your units clear shots to light them up. There's also the added bonus of them havening to slowly retreat back across the creek allowing more shots in their backs. Thanks for the video!

I recommend filling up the supply wagons to the max size of 35,000. The army started with about 15k in each wagon, and there was plenty of cash on hand to fill up both wagons. The game replaces the ammo for FREE at the end of the battle. The worst thing that can happen to the army is to run out of ammo. When that happens, units fire at 1/3 speed, and also become exhausted. - I hope that you are enjoying your campaign.
