First of all, if you have a metronome, use it!! Its your best ally. This is a tech that requires a lot of time because you must start slow, always trying to obtain a clear sounds. Maybe you can start playing without distorsion, because that can "mess up" your sound. Without distorsion, you will hear clearly what your sweep sounds like. Because you are new, I recommend you to start with sweep picking exercises in 3 strings. It shouldn't fall of your fingers, of course, but with sweep picking you want a "smooth" movement. And finally, as a person with short fingers, try to keep your hand in a correct but comfortable position

You mean the bends in the 14 fret?? Cause I see tabs that plays it in the 10 fret of the second string, but I play it in the 3 strings (same note)

@Michael Murray Guitar yes I can only hear the slides when you play. It looks like you are barely touching the strings except to do the slides. It very hard to hear of you are actually playing. Thanks.

​@@michaelmyers7425 listen carefully, because you can hear Dimebags guitar and my guitar. If you compare the audio with the original track, you will notice my distorsion. I understand you, there are a lot of poser guitarist on social media which plays the original and they only move their fingers (I know cases on instagram) but I play in all my videos and never simulated over the original tracks
