this saved my ass, my goddaughter (4) has a favorite baby doll thats full vinyl and washable, a game she likes to play is "dirty baby" using a brown crayola marker to make her baby all "muddy" and then putting the doll in the tub to wash all the "mud" off, me being a idiot i on accident grabbed a magic marker and fully drew all over her baby with her, after teaching her some new F words (not a proud uncle moment) i was able to use the UV and heat lamp in their spare reptile cage and it got everything off without bleaching the dolls skin after or burning it, we left it in overnight (it was a foot away from the bulb) and i covered the eyes with paper just in case

For a beginner, this video moves too fast (even with websites slowdown effect in place) to follow her setup procedures. It's not terribly useful.

When using the flat iron method it’s better to completely straighten it with the flat iron and then use pencils or pens as curlers and pin them with Bobbi pins. Everyone I have seen use this method has turned out w perfect curls!!

Since a steamer uses boiling water, the temp is controlled to 212 F. In the video I watched about using a steamer The doll was prone, so her body was not steamed. She was also face down at time to get at the underside better. I tried this on a vintage TOMY doll and her hair turned out wonderfully.

You should not just twist and heat shrink the wires, you should solder or wire splice connectors. That said it is only five volts so the likelihood of it hurting any thing is pretty low.

HI! I NEED HELP… i tried the straightening iron method on my tm 59 since i tried the hot water dip and she still had frizzy hair with split ends, and guess what! even tho i used the lowest setting, wet her hair, and everything you had to do, her hair burnt on the end, and the worse part is, her hair still has split ends!! i don’t even care about the split ends, the hair wasn’t burnt that bad (it just got curly and it’s brittle when i touch it) but it bothers me sm.. how do i remove it? ik it’s probably impossible but most preferred if it didn’t involve cutting her hair. and yes i’m so desperate to the point that i’m commenting on this video.. thanks!

I have a ? For Q&A. I often buy tlc ag dolls, just for financial reasons, sometimes to restore. More often than not, they come with shine marks (which don't really bother me), but often they arrive with dents to their nose (im guessing after being dropped many times by kids). My question is: What is the best way to get rid of deep facial scars/dents/dings??? Im worried if I sand them I'll take away the colour of the vinyl. Thank you😊
