Why is this not getting enough views ,this guy took his teaching to next level..thanks for taking yout time to explain
So my safari won't work :( :(
Thank you! I appreciate it lot. I knew the fact that you can share video like youtube through Chrome tab but I didn't think of uploading my file to drive. This is such an amazing suggestion!
This helped a lot haha. Thank you very much!❤
Hey Luke, I'm trying to broadcast stereo guitar...I have my main laptop with OBS, and a test laptop to pretend as a participant. I'm using an iphone hot spot, that only uploads about 6mbps. I'm not getting stereo on the participant laptop, and the sound quality is very grey...it doesnt sound rich/full like in my mixer. I suppose I could set the send/receive video quality to 720p or less? But still, not stereo....would you know the fix? thanks
Hi! This is a great video. I love it! You explain everything in an easy way for us to understand. 🤗🤗 I wanted to ask you, what’s the name of the app that you use?
Thanks so much for your kind feedback! For all the graphics, I was just pulling from a google slide deck I made. The rhythms were generated on the site www.rhythmrandomizer.com. I then edit it all in Final Cut Pro X. Hope that helps!
@@ldenton Thank you so much! That helps a lot. You have great content. Keep it up! 💪🙌🏽
Just wanted to stop by. I graduated from Lucketts Elementary in 2014 and I had you as my chorus teacher! Im turning 20 this month and I just wanted to say that your teaching had a very special place in my heart. I didnt have the best relationship with school but being in your class was one of the only good memories I have from it. Thank you for being you!
Thank you so much for sharing that with me! It means so much to hear that, and now I have the biggest smile on my face. Happy Birthday, and I hope you're doing well!
Thanks!!!
Hi! How do I do to share only the audio? I need it for my yoga classes but I need the students to see me and not my Spotify page 😅
HI NR DENTON I WAS IN YOUR FIRST GRADE CLASS IN COOL SPRING
Oh Awesome! I love that you found my UA-cam page. Hope all's well!
Hi mr.Denton we watched this in music class
Thanks for sharing! How to live stream yamaha keyboard on google meet?
I’m from turkey Istanbul!
hii! I love your videos
I’m one of your students at arcola:)
Look at this young man on the sax ua-cam.com/video/sfq7HTuHUzU/v-deo.html
Great intro, but the photo at 2:01 is not Billie. It's Lorraine Glover, who was the wife of trumpeter Donald Byrd. The photo was taken in 1960, the year after Billie died.
Hey Daniel. Oops! Thanks so much for that correction. I’ll change it out ASAP. Definitely want accuracy. Appreciate it!
What about keynote presentation?
Yeah but you can’t have them hear music while looking at a slide.
Excellent!
Thanks for sharing this. On a Mac I wasn't sure how to connect my Audio Interface output back into the laptop. It doesn't have a mic input. So, did some more digging and found this video. Thought I'd share it here. ua-cam.com/video/MlEBO_bZwQQ/v-deo.html
Is it possible without the audio interface? I am using Cakewalk with USB midi for electric drum and USB mic. But when I gone on to Google meet it only can connect 1 using VB Cable which only drum but no mic. So I cannot speak back. How to solve this? Thank you 😊
Please do tutorial on virtually taking the output sound from a DAW and then send it to the mic input on Google Meet.
ua-cam.com/video/MlEBO_bZwQQ/v-deo.html this might help. I just found out about this. Its working on a trial meet. Will try it in my next live class.
I've been looking for months to figure out how to share a video with sound from my personal collection. A very big thank you. I am proud to be your Padawan.
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome. Thanks! 🤝🏾
Hi mr Denton!
Great video Luke! I couldn't help noticing the instruments so I am going to ask if you have any tips for performing acoustic guitar and singing with Google Meet. We have a Sing Along next week and I recorded myself in a Google Meet to see how it sounds and it does not sound good. Any tips on how to improve sound quality? Thanks!!
Hey Matthew. Thanks so much! I do have a video that shows how to hook up an audio interface so that it both plays your computer audio and uses any microphone you want to use (which will drastically improve the sound quality). Two things - 1) It's a bit extensive, and 2) The tutorial is based on using a Mac. I'm working on a PC version. I hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/K32RvE9rTB0/v-deo.html
Hi Mr.denton its me Nathan kebede
Every single tutorial is showing this method. But I want to share audio with them still seeing ME. Not seeing another screen, not seeing a video, not seeing a slide. Seeing ME with music playing. Zoom has "share computer audio" simple. I can play itunes in the background while I am on video. Is there a feature like this for google meets?
Hey Amanda! I have a video that describes a way to be able to use your computer's audio so you can do what you mentioned. Two things - 1) It's a bit extensive, and 2) The tutorial is based on using a Mac. I'm working on a PC version. I hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/K32RvE9rTB0/v-deo.html
@@ldenton Where in that video? That video you linked is about instruments and other audio equipment. Unless I missed it you didn't mention how to show a slide with audio
Hi)) Can you help me with this? I want to play audio from my computer for the pupils. But they dont hear it ! I can, and they dont. I dont know why, and most of our teachers have the same problem. Thanks)))
Do you mute your mic when you’re sharing the audio? If you mute your mic it will mute the audio that you’re sharing.
@@ldenton PC
just enable the driver of "stereo mix" and in the google meet interface/settings click on audio and select stereo mix and open your mic stereo mix will capture all the sound that comes from your laptop and send it clearly to your students but they can't hear you when you're using stereo mix so you'll need to select the default microphone and vice versa btw you can find the drivers of stereo mix in the task bar by right clicking the volume menu
What do i do when I just wanna share audio nit video

Love thissssssx! Also how come when I’m in Music your not there?
What in-ears do you use?
I love this!
Love this energy!
Great video but every time I do it it always shows on as the Snapchat - I have have went to the preview and not the Snapchat option. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Git sorted - thanks again! Easy steps to follow
Do you need a cellular phone to do this? It seems to require that I have a snap chat account, which is challenging, since I do not have a cellular phone.
What if, I just want to share audio only
Did it work?
@@angelamerici7560 yes it works
my project doesnt show up on my "lenses" page, what should i do? btw great video edit: i just needed to wait lol
Yeah same here
Hi mate!! Liked the video, good job! Why don’t you use smzeus . c o m to promote your channel?!
Is there any way to disable auto gain/noise gate on Google Meet? is essential to be off for music classes online.
I'm teaching hybrid with the majority of my high school band in person and a few participating remotely. I'm using a Mbox 3 audio interface with a condenser microphone to pick up a high-quality band sound and a dynamic vocal mic to separate myself so I don't have to speak loudly by the condenser to talk with my online students. It's working out alright at the moment with those students at home muting their mics and playing along. I'm going to experiment with them individually counting us off and playing from home so we can follow them for a change. Loved the video! Look forward to seeing more :)
Hello mr Denton this is milan!
Hi mr Denton it is shivai
Thanks for this information. Do you have a recommendation for a specific lapel mic? Thanks a bunch!
We are doing this and still experiencing some issues. For example if the teacher speaks while the video is playing with audio, the speakers pick up on the teacher voice and the video audio becomes staticky for the meet participants. Any other tips are greatly appreciated. We are dealing with elementary music students and sometimes need to speak while the music or video is playing.
@@ldenton yes I hope google comes out with something to help with this. I didnt realize you could mute yourself while you are presenting in google meet and the students could still hear the audio on the video clip. I will give that a try. Thank you!
Hi! Stay safe Mr.denton!
oh my gosh hi mr.denton
So cute the two little angel to your side..
Hello I'm a new friend visiting your home and watching ur video right now .. it's a lot guitar.. wow.. nice and your a good singer nice sound..love it
