How I Buy Back Time as an Employee: 6 Easy Strategies
Time is our most valuable resource, but most of us feel like we never have enough of it-especially as employees. In today’s video, I share 6 practical and affordable strategies to help you buy back your time without needing a huge budget.
Inspired by Dan Martell’s book Buy Back Your Time, this video focuses on small changes you can make to save a couple of hours each day, from using AI tools like ChatGPT to outsourcing simple tasks like meal prep and delegating at work. You’ll learn how to work smarter, not harder, and reclaim time for the things that really matter.
Here’s what you’ll learn in this video:
Outsourcing small tasks (e.g., meal prep services and robot vacuums)
Leveraging AI tools at work (ChatGPT for emails, reports, and more)
Simplifying your fitness routine (using CrossFit or structured workouts)
Using book summaries like Shortform to optimize learning
Delegating and elevating tasks with the EOS framework
Bonus tips for batching tasks and time blocking
If you’ve ever felt like there aren’t enough hours in the day, these strategies will help you take back control of your time, even on a tight budget. Try just one of these tips, and you’ll start seeing a difference!

    • @peaklifebrandon
      @peaklifebrandon 3 місяці тому

      Thanks so much for this comment. To be honest, it is a lot of trial and error. Picking things to manage and measure and seeing if managing that helps keep you on track. Some things you start to manage and measure will take a ton of effort and not give you productive feedback. Other things will turn into great leading indicators. A great strategy is to talk with others who are a couple of steps ahead of where you are, personal, business, relations, or any field you are trying to improve. And ask them for some advice! Let me know if that helps or if you have any other questions.

    • @peaklifebrandon

      Hi there, thanks for your question. The biggest thing to remember is that bosses, recruiters, ect are all humans and have the human condition. The key is to be confident that you can deliver on the role you are applying too. If you are having trouble landing a new career after your gap you can find a company you really like, apply for the dream job, and in the interview let them know that the gap in your career can cause some concerns but you would be happy starting in a lower position or doing a week of non-paid apprentice where you can better show your skills.
