Yea I don't think they really change enough every year to justify getting the game every year unless you're really into it. I think maybe the best thing to do is only get the final version of each game every 4 years or so. (Winning Post 10 2026? Winning Post 9 2022, Winning Post 8 2018) etc

Yea you can't actually ride the horses, you just manage them. They use to release a game called Champion Jockey which would allow you to ride the horses but I think they stopped making new ones in 2018.

Unfortunately the betting mode is still online only it looks like.

@@dumbododo yep and I think that is all there ever will be. It's nothing like the modern day ones. Closest thing I have found to stable running is Melbourne cup on PS2 and pc also know as Frankie detorri racing. Or phar lap/rival stars but this is a weak attempt at running a stable. Tecmo really need to get a game out in the UK, even if it's language patch.

Do you use windows 10 or 11? For windows 10 if you go to control panel, under clock and region click "change date, time, or number formats". Then another window will pop up with two tabs Formats and Administrative. Click Administrative tab and you will see a button that says "Change system locale". Hit that button and change the current system locale to Japanese (Japan). Make sure you do NOT check Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8. If you have that check marked it will not work. I believe this will fix your problem.

Oh wow the guy who translated it! Really appreciate your hard work. The ending actually isn't specific to the thief I don't think. There are three different endings, good, normal, and bad, but I'm not 100 percent sure what the conditions are. ​@@dumbododo I stand corrected then. The dialogs changes when you play with the mage, regarding the fact that she's a female. That's why I thought it was class based. I may try to do some tests and see what triggers the endings.

@@Krokrodyl Cool. I plan to play again to try to get a better ending. Only info I was able to find was this link but I'm not sure if its correct. I think it might be based on the three awards the king gives out at the end. (Saving towns/Big Monsters being the two good ones, dieing the most being the bad one). Oh is that how the math works out? Just take your attack stat and add 30 percent? Since it says "attacking will deal 30% more damage." I wasn't sure.

Yea it would be nice if they added a new difficulty or something that improves the AI. I like how they were aggressive during the first few chapters but they just get so completely lost in the end. Maybe in normal mode they are better?
