Tires matter

I know I'm a year late but my 24 Lariat AWD really surprised me today. I live in AR and we just got 12 to 13 inches of snow. My road to get out is probably close to around 30 degrees inclined. The Maverick went up it without even struggling. This thing is surprisingly good in the snow! And I'm running all seasons that came with it. It's not the continental though.

Nobody around here in Charlotte seems to undercoat these vehicles. It really needs to be on a lift to do it right. That oil pan is probably plastic

I am a Maverick maniac also. I wanted one years ago when I first heard they were developing them but couldn’t afford one, then couldn’t find one and I just finally bought a used 2022 2.0L xlt two wheel drive with 33,000 miles for 25k that an elderly lady just traded in for a new Maverick. My Maverick wasn’t even detailed yet and I bought it. I am now on top of world in my Maverick. I’m going to drive it till the frame is shot.

The tacoma last a long time.i don't think the maverick will.

I hate lane keeping so much. I pass a postal truck and it pulls me back towards it. Every land change it grabs the wheel. Absolute dosghit nanny state feature.

Which drive mode are you in for this?

Have used this for years to coat AGCO an construction equipment that is shipped overseas an have great results the manufacturer claims it last three years but i think it last longer it really penetrates the metal just bought a maverick two weeks ago an i will be coating my truck cover the floor pans truck bed an suspension don't spray exhaust are drive belts if you have a spray in bed covering don't spray around it there may be a problem with it peeling i used a commercial paint sprayer an it works great an quick

Under vehicle settings, autolamp delay, I set my 2024 Mav XLT to off and they still stay on for approx 20 seconds. I want them to go off when I shut the engine off as the inside of our garage stays lit 24/7.

Is there room to lift the ski tails higher than the wheel well to get more length? Stick a bag or pillow or something to prop it up higher?

Interesting video. An interior comparison would be cool too. I'd go with the Maverick for the appearance, fuel economy, interior comfort, and technology. I do wonder if the older 4.0 V6 will be more reliable that the 2.0 I4 Ecoboost? All I can say on Ecoboost is change that oil every 5K miles to help that turbo.

I recently picked up a 2024 Maverick Lariat Tremor. So excited because now the crazy heavy snow days shouldn’t be a problem now. My last truck was a RWD f150 and man it sucked on snow and ice lol

I have a 2001 Sport trac, its my first truck too, rear differential is clunking, but other than that im taking better csre of it than the last guy that owned it... lots of body and engine work... i did everything! I love it so much but i dont think ill ever be getting a maverick

When I looked, Lariats were abundantly available in stock and read for delivery.

How do you like that Revolver X4S bed cover? Was thinking about getting one but I was curious about longevity of the vinyl.

Thumbs up. Only thing is I think you should make another one and add a link for those having FX4 and 4K tow along with Tremor package. First insisting the tow haul mode be used especially with heavy loads or trailers. Second showing how to adjust and use the brake controller. Lastly showing how and the advantages of the off road screen which is on the FX4 and Tremor package. The reason I say this I watched a video reviewing a Maverick FX4 off road where they voiced he wished it had an off-road screen showing slopes, hill degrees. Unfortunately he didn't know he already had it on that model and most likely didn't go through all the optional viewing screens. Anyway it shows a need for this. Along with many reviews explaining what comes with what package or what you get with this package and I would wager 99% do not mention the off road screen. Thus the reason I'm suggesting this and a link to those who have a FX4, 4k Tow and the Tremor package.

Took delivery of mine in February (hybrid XLT, in Alas blue). The prep guy removed the center screen plastic 😠, but didn't bother to wash the inside glass. I could see the factory suction cup marks on the windshield. I didn't make a fuss, but still. 🫤

My Maverick Lariat AWD 2.0l ecoboost is the fastest vehicle for warming up and melting ice on the windshield of any vehicle I have ever driven. I have yet to have need for a rear window defroster. My Lariat has a heating grid in the windshield to heat the wipers in their parked position. This feature works 100 times better on the Maverick than it ever did on my 2019 F150 Lariat.

New your channel just stumble the CrossFit last week it popped up at something I might be interested in. It’s like they knew. Me and the wife got a maverick last Monday. XLT took on a road trip already to Pennsylvania six hours each way have a little over 1000 miles already 25 a little less on it.
