고구마 저녁 간식 | Korean Sweet Potato
토비가 저녁을 먹고 또 어디서 삶은 고구마를 봤는지 가져와서 먹겠다고 했다. 엄마가 껍질을 까 주다가 주문한 배달 음식이 왔다. 늦게 올 줄 알고 토비 먼저 밥을 먹인 것인데, 이후 머지 않아 도착했다. 토비는 엄마가 고구마를 안 줄 수도 있겠다고 판단했는지 “이거... 리오 거” 라며 들고 도주했다가, 먹어도 된다고 하니 다가왔다. 시킨 음식은 막창과 옛날 김밥이었다. 토비가 먹는 김밥보다 어른들이 먹는 김밥이 한 세네 배 정도 큰데, 게다가 소금 간까지 되어 있으니 주진 않았다 (음식에 소금간을 본격 하지는 않았던 시기).
After dinner, Toby found a boiled sweet potato somewhere and insisted on eating it. While Mom was peeling it for him, the delivery food we had ordered arrived. We had fed Toby dinner first, thinking the delivery would take longer, but it arrived shortly after Toby finished eating. Perhaps suspecting that Mom might not let him have the sweet potato, Toby ran off with it, saying it's mine. When Dad told him he could eat it, he came back and enjoyed it. Mom and Dad ordered classic kimbap and pork intestines. Typical kimbap (rice and vegetables wrapped by seaweed, NOT SUSHI) Toby ate was about three to four times smaller than the ones for adults, and since the adult kimbap was seasoned with salt, we didn’t give him any. At that time, we were still cautious about giving him food with added salt.

아침을 먹고 10-11시 정도에 토비네 가족은 점촌 할머니네로 향하였다. 구직과 학교 졸업 때문에 한 텀을 건너 뛴 아빠는 거의 일 년 반만에 찾아 뵙는 길이었다. 길이 생각보다 막혀서 중간에 휴게소에 들러서 간식거리를 샀다. 토비를 위해 버터로 구운 감자를 사서 겉은 뜯어내서 엄마가 먹고 속만 줬는데 속도 짭짤하니 토비가 심히 즐거워했다. 점촌에 3-4시 무렵 도착해서 토비가 어디서 삶은 옥수수를 찾아 아빠한테 들고 와서 반 쪼개 주고, 저녁 6시가 돠어 저녁을 먹었다. 메뉴는 게살채소볶음밥 (당근과 애호박이 들어간 듯), 무염조미김, 그리고 뭇국이었다 (아직 다 무염이다). 토비가 무를 보통 좋아하는데 식감이 아삭했거나 길게 잘라놔서 싫었는지 국물만 다 먹은 것 빼곤 나머진 다 먹었다. 그리고 김을...

Yes I was also shocked by the tragic news. There was also a flight accident in Korea a month ago, which made all the passengers passed away, and another small one a few days ago, so I feel for you and many other people living in both countries having sadness.
