I had one. It was my Dad's before mine. He got it new in 1959. It measures 48" and it's 45lbs @28". I've given it to my younger brother since he has some boys he can hand it down to. Nice bow!

To measure the length of a recurve, measure from tip to tip along the curvature on the back of the bow.

That’s pretty cool I am going to get back into the traditional shooting I never really got into it all the way cause we were perfecting the compound Even if I don’t hunt with it right away I want to be able to shoot traditional

One thing I notice is the deer are clam until you draw. When you draw back the arrow makes a screeching noise and alerts the deer. What are you using for an arrow rest? Calf hair or velcro are quite a bit quieter than learher or just the wood of the bow
