Thanks, that did the trick! Removing the internal speaker appears to be the only way to properly mute this UPS. I wasted time searching for a proper solution in the manual - I also tried the Vertiv Power Assist software with the USB connection, and it doesn't have a setting to mute the beeps, so it's a dead end.

The way you opened the UPS is wrong. You should've opened it flat upside down, not upright as you did. It's much easier to get around the circuit board with the whole unit upside down.

Worked like a charm on the cyberpower 900va. For anyone here with that same model, the speaker is mounted to the underside, no need to remove the board, twist left to right from the side. Speaker looks exactly the same. 🎉

I have done some network installing and certification with this Fluke. We did a lot of CAT6 and 6A and remebered the cable to be much more delicate, even one kink wouldnt pass certification. We always were very gentle with cables, taking all precautions and recomendations. Almost everything we used was from Corning/3M. Their tool-less keystone jacks are so nice.

in Florida, too. Fla Phlicker & Linger (FPL) often bumps the power. The APC notices every time and screams. I placed mine behind a console, I have to crawl under, and come up in the back, to silence. THANKS for the video!

OK for starters... you show the gun upside down in Cura... and then you show the TOP of it saying " dont turn on ironing. So that is wrong on your part.......you showed the " BOTTOM" of the print as the top. Ive used ironing with Silk and looks GREAT. Always do outer walls before inner and outer should be slower. Make your infill overlap only 5%. But why did you show what you called the "TOP" layer of the gun as the top when hat was your first layer?

I've learned of another cause to this problem - a loose Thermistor wire. In the video the white wire going to the hot end is the Thermistor wire. It's kind of loose and zip tied a few inches up. My hot end was getting temperature variations (up to 10 degrees in a second) and sometimes would still do a Thermal Runaway error. I've just zip tied the wire to my blue filament tube as close as I could to the hot end and fairly snug, as well as zip tying it a few other spots to keep it more steady and consistent. Temperature is holding solid and not fluctuating at all now. I thought the screw holding it in place on the hot end would be enough but apparently not.

I thought this video was how to silence the alarm through the interface buttons. Not void the warranty 😂 according to the manual it’s possible.

Thanks for the video! Im struggling with good quality silk printing. That layer time adjustment should fix my blobby points i get as well, its been driving me nuts since the whole print turns out good except for the last 1%. I think i need to reduce my retraction speed as well. Default for my printer's profile was set at 80. So ill try lowering it. I dont know if im willing to run at 25mms for walls but it that is what makes the difference, then it will be worth it.

im gonna try this tomorrow i also got the e1 error and after replacing the termis it dont keep it steady it gos up and drops down and gos down to about 160c i beleave and then gives the error

Just a heads up, I also had a problem where my printer would loud beep and reset mid print. I believe this was a different issue of a wire being loose. Took out the main board (I have the silent board upgrade) and redid all the connections. Gave all the wires a little wiggle and shake. Everything solid. Prints like a charm now.
