My XJ9 drain valve is enclosed with 2 screws on the case?
Jura XJ9, I rebuilt the brew group but the machine just makes noise reying to make coffee, I have to unplug it. It does make hot water> Thoughts?
Trying to get top off my Impressa F7 but the grinder knob seems to be preventing the top removal. How is the knob removed?
If my white plastic cap on the drain valve push rod spins but won’t come off, is that ok? I’m leaking out of the bottom and took it apart not realizing I could have taken the sides off and tried to make a coffee, to see where it’s leaking. Should I super glue it now so it won’t spin? I have a Z6. Any help is appreciated.
Good evening! HELP....At minute 10.35 he takes out 2 small black o-rings, before the orange ones, from the pump and doesn't put anything back in place. is it ok like this Thank you!
Great video, thank you!
Great video but I am having a really hard time finding help on how to replace the water pump. Is it an easy swap? My E85 needs a new one (or so I am told). Thanks
The F7 has two more torx screws up at the chute for pre-ground.

I just want to say THANK YOU. I can't tell you how thankful I am for you guys and your helpful content. It took me a while, but I was able to follow your steps in the video to get my brew group cleaned out, o-rings replaced, and issues resolved. My Impressa F7 is 15+ years old and has cranked out 20,000 cups of coffee, and it's still going as strong as ever thanks to you guys.
Thank you for the video! Where do you buy the pristine?
God Bless you! I’m amazed at the engineering that went into the design & evolution of the Jura machines! Astounded is a better word. I’m grateful that you share this unique & indispensable video of rebuilding the brew group. It’s unbelievable that you tear down this complex amalgam of parts to each component. Then repeat the process so effortlessly. Kudos to you! I’m not sure I will tear down mine when the time comes; I just may opt for buying a rebuilt brew group! 😂
Thank you for your videos! Sooo, my Jura ENA 8 is "spitting" whenever I make coffee or hot water. It sputters and I have opened up the side and cleaned out the excess coffee grounds plus used the Jura cleaning capsules to try and make this go away. Awy help on how to fix this problem is greatly appreciated!!! It's driving me crazy!

Fantastic video! Am rebuilding my first brew group for ENA3. Top of the upper portion of the lower piston seems to hang up in the piston cup. Have reset the lower piston several times making certain it’s pressed all the way down but then not going thru gears smoothly when that lower piston gets to top of cup and hangs up instead of cup moving/ejecting forward. Any ideas?? Thx!
Two questions. Rebuilding my first ENA3 brew group. 1) the little pipe shaped piece that fits at bottom has a small gasket that fits on the 90 degree bend end, does that gasket just fit on END or does it need to be put on further past first ring? 2) bottom of my brew unit does not have the brown plastic shroud that fits at bottom. Our family has a ENA5 that does have this brown shroud so wondering why this is? How is this brown shroud removed? Sorry system won’t allow me to send photos. Thx
Great video! Am considering rebuilding my ENA3 brew kit. However it’s only producing very coarse grounds regardless of settings. I’ve taken apart and tried various calibrations, even as “tight” as possible and still getting very coarse grounds that do not form pucks. Presume this is a grinder issue and not brew kit seals, etc. HELP!!
What are the part numbers or where to purchase the replacement o rings? Is there a kit?
Good video but what tool do you use to remove the 4 oval screws on the back of the machine?
@jura-parts Is this the right step-by-step for a more recent E8 machine ? Thank you!
Wish you would have shown how to remove the plastic side cover of the machine to get inside.
Thank you! I finally was able to reassemble my brew group correctly on the 5th try! Only took 2 days, lol
God, these Jura machines are just dog shit engineering. It's literally engineered to break...
Clear and useful!
can i have a link for the Jura ENE 8 detailed repair ?
hello there,, do you know how to open a We8? I cannot find it. thank you
Un grand merci ! Maintenant il fonctionne !
Do I have to work in the dark like you?
This is the second time I've had to watch this in the past few years. Thank you for this helpful video!
Hi Vet first thank you for your service I will put a Vet first every time! Retired out it myself 22 years I saw your UA-cam videos and purchased your rubber gasket pack with the oval driver. Question, I did the whole shebang and I don’t know what I did wrong but the slider in the front that adjusts for espresso and larger won’t go up far enough to put the tray back in what did I do wrong? Thanks for taking on the big dogs my brother I’ll back you every step of the way!
Oh I forgot it’s a C-60
Incredible video! Reminds me of the Rubix cube. I made an amateur DIY mistake of not remembering the gearbox position (7:07) relative to the casing when taking it out. I thought each side looked the same either way! In the end, an error 8 or when doing the second test, the lower piston would pop out. Also for me, in order to know if the lower piston was pushed down enough, I had to take out all 3 (gearbox, piston cup, piston) out and test for the correct end position.
If only all instructional videos were this phenomenal. Thank you!
Hi, I see the video description does say “F8”, so I assume the information is correct, is it? I read somewhere that the brew unit cannot be removed from the Jura Impressa F8. My unit isn’t working, so I’ve got nothing to lose🤞🏻 Thanks
This video is excellent Sir, well done and thank you
Are these the same instructions for ENA8?
Can you remove the spouts without taking it all apart?
This is an excellent video, well presented and illustrated! There is no way I could have put my brew group back together without these instructions. Great job!
Hi and firstly…. This helped me so much..thank you very much. Unfortunately, i followed all the steps and my brewing unit moves freely and when i reconnected to my coffee machine, it runs and exactly as it used to. Except… I have same issue i started with…no coffee coming through anymore… ive used a screwdriver to trick the sensors to have a look, and it seems its leaking from the point in which the drain valve meets the lower piston and a load comes out of the wastegate. I really think my drain valve is faulty but i did do something alittle silly when reassembling. So i used the 'revised metal cap' for the drain pin, and it wouldnt sit in the pin properly, so i hammered it which ended up bending the tip very slightly and i have since tried to realign it. It seems ok but does have me a little paranoid that is causing the issue. Other than that, my reassembly was spot on. I tested the movement of the piston in a clockwise motion and it was smooth (which took ages to master but thats because i stumbled on this video so thanks again) Any advice on the above would really be appreciated. As im not sure if i should spend money on another pin, or just get a fully refurbished one. I feel its something very silly thats causing it, which is ashame because ive replaced all the o rings now
Thanks for this video! Without I would not been able to repair my machine!
Thank you very very much for this very good explain video.👍It was so helpful 😀
Excellent video! Great instructions and tips along the way.
Thanks for this. Its hard to read the tube of lube you used on the O rings. Can you tell use the name or a substitute. Obviously it has to be food friendly.
Useful video. I have an Impressa C9 and was getting an error 2. Replaced the thermoblock sensor and that fixed the problem. To open the case you'll need an oval head socket which you can get from Jura Parts for about $8 USD. You'll also need at 15 Torx for the case and a 25 Torx to remove the sensor from the thermoblock.

I wish you’d have more detail of gearbox alignment. 15:15 or so. Very hard to see. I assembled it backwards leading to error 8. 😢
