Where i live fishermen can ask £3 plus for a mackerel and get that amount. I catch them from the shore and am happy to give them away

It's been bloody rough for the last couple of days. I'm staying with my friends whose house overlooks Sandy Bay and in Newlyn and there hasn't been much fishing taking place.

And the by-catch survived to swim another day.

mackerel in feb , iv only fished the west coast and wales and mackerel were gone by late october but i am going back a good few years
