You’re absolutely right! I know they do about 4 or 5 costume changes to cover the She Loves You early 60’s period, The 65/66 period, Sgt Pepper 67, White album 68 and the 69’ Abbey Road/Let it Be period.

Well thank you so much, Christene! Very kind words and I agree: the McCartney/Costello team was superb and the song always reminds me of my grandmother who suffered with Alzheimer’s disease. @@dominicberesford5459 thanks Dominic. I am a great Beatles fan. I was 8 years old when I saw them on Ed Sullivan for the first time and wondered at all the girls screaming. The Beatles were a bright spot in my childhood and beyond. McCartney is my mentor. :-) along with Steven Curtis Chapman.

@@christenejackman -it’s an honour to speak to someone who watched this momentous occasion on American TV! George Harrison said apparently there was a drop in crime when that show was broadcast: even the robbers were taking time out to watch The Beatles!🤣

@@dominicberesford5459 You're so sweet :) My whole family sat around the TV (Telly :). I never forgot it! Oh, how the girls screamed and the 4 guys were so engaging, even to an 8 year old. They really do span the generations, each one discovering them for the first time. A perfect storm that I doubt will ever be recreated.They inspired me at 15 to pick up a guitar and start writing songs.

Haha! No problem and apologies for any embarrassment caused! Just out of interest, was your friend at Greenhead College or Carnmoney Infants and Juniors? I was part of the Greenhead Choir and the show was shot in two days. The song video on the Thursday and the bits with Alan Titchmarsh and co on the Friday (if I remember rightly). The Friday was a long day. John Barrowman was a really nice guy and PJ and Duncan nicked my Parker pen!🤣 I remember the kids from Carnmoney Infants were really well behaved considering how long the day was. I guess they’ll all be around 32-33 now! I’m going to put the whole video on when I get chance as there was about 8 or 9 finalists in total and all of them were brilliant. Tim Woodcock, the guy who wrote and sang the Greenhead College song went on to become a hugely successful songwriter working with Eliza Doolittle, Simon Webb and Peter Andre amongst others.

Not really a "note-for-note" player either. I'm more of a "feel-for-feel" player, I guess. I really love how you played Macca's bassline here, especially the bridge/middle eight, which for some reason reminds me so much of Macca's bassline for "Something." Also love EC's work, both Attractions and solo work. Bruce Thomas is one of my bass heroes. 😊

@@jinggaddi Totally agree, Jing! I’m in awe of the vids people post of stuff like ‘Hey Bulldog’ where they’ve absolutely nailed it! I’m a bit lazy when it comes to learning stuff note for note, although recently I’ve done pretty accurate versions of ‘Drive My Car’ and ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ on my ‘Get Strumming’ UA-cam channel. Another favourite of mine from the ‘Spike’ album is the song ‘This Town’, which I may actually do a video for sometime in the future. I agree: Bruce Thomas is a legend!😁👍🏻
