You could have saved it. I just did this with an orchid: rinse that nasty soil off roots, soak the roots in a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide per cup of water, so if you need 2 cups of water to cover roots, then use 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, then plant it in fresh soil. Root rot isn't going to spread from pot to pot

You could've saved the plant by propagating the good parts, It happens when the soil doesn't have enough drainage to it but coco coir, perlite or sand added to any soil will help! 😊

My favorite thing to do is vacuum but I recently used a pressure washer for the first time and ended up pressure washing the horrible stain job off the outside of my sister’s privacy fence. It took me a couple of days, my forearms were ridiculously sore, and I now have a noticeable farmers tan but I’m going to do the inside of the fence for the fun of it. 😁
