Yea this was when I was new to baitcasters 😂 it still did a decent job for a 1/8 Ned head, now I use it for musky trolling big ole 10” tubes

@@JP_Fishing506I’m thinking of the 40 vs 60 (I have teeny little elf hands) does the 40 size cast smaller musky lures just fine? Or should I just gun it and get the larger 60?

@@krispyk.178640 is a good in between but there’s times where I feel like I want to go bigger especially fishing for musky, I’d say go with the 60 has more drag more line capacity overall it should be better 👍🏽

@@JP_Fishing506 sounds great! I just got to hold and feel the 60 with a rod attached and it really isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!

if a baitcaster has more ball bearings, it's usually a better quality reel, the more ball bearings will make the reel smoother overall. Not that this ones not smooth cause it is pretty smooth but it’s also a bigger reel with a higher profile so the bearings are most likely bigger therefore only having 5 bearings. But yes if you want quality reels look at the ball bearings usually less means it’s gonna lean towards the cheaper side 👍🏽
