I must say i agree. Even if the story telling is a bit quick with both games, Project Nimbus was by far the better game. I dont even blame it on the developers, they are a small indie team after all, and for that they delivered something good, but Infinity needs more polish if possible. I mean they supported Project Nimbus for years before brining our the second game, so there is hope :)

that is a good argument, the backpack slot can be a crucial space for some more needed equipment. i mean in the optimal case you have someone assisting you with the autocanon, but since i play mostly quickplay i dont have a munitions feeder. but there are times when i wished i had my guard dog with me (dont have the shield yet)

Joa, also Antirocket hätte ich machen können, war aber nicht das Hauptproblem. Ich hätte auf Wespen gehen müssen und eigene Overlords und mechanical rage bei den tanks um sie schneller zu machen. Wenns keine Sniper sind ist range gegen Stormcaller immer dumm, und wer hat das scope gekriegt..die langsamen tanks. Naja, war ne ekelhafte Runde, aber man sieht, wer auf kompakt keine Artillerie spielt hats schwer, manchmal

@@Retrogamer9 naja das Hauptproblem was ich sehen konnte, war das Kredit in der 3ten Runde... damit haste dich gezwungen in der 4-5 das selbe zu tun... und schon waren 300 Kredits weg... die hätten dir sehr gut geholfen... ich persönlich versuche nun zu achten, dass ich keine Kredite vor der 5 Runde nehme... sonnst schießt man sich derbe ins Knie

@@TH-Vit ja das ist auch korrekt, das mit dem Kredit mochte ich auch selber nicht, allerdings fühlte ich mich gezwungen den zu nehmen, einfach um gegenzurüsten (was dumm war da es ja auch nichts gebracht hatte)

yeah, i realized that when it was too late vut the heavies can take some punishment at least...though you need to put them on passive or else they wont obey a movement order. Had it enough times that they wouldnt retreat otherwise from a battle

it works most times, as long as you go for the healing upgrade on the hackers as well, but it wont help forever, if the opponent is smart he will sell the rhino

Well 2v2s are dependant on a comparable teammate, but they are still more fun to me cause there is a cushion sorta. In 1v1s there is no safety of that matter. I am someone who takes a turn or 2 to see an error in my strategy, in a 2v2 that can be compensated but in a 1v1 that will be 2 times harder to compensate. Which is why i prefer 2v2s...you can even help your partner with some tips if he struggles

yeah, some mustangs, snipers with elite marksman, or even wasps and phoenixes by himself could have saved him there

Yeah you are not wrong, i was too fixiated on playing melting points that i disregarded a better response to his actions. likely would have led me to maybe turn this thing around if more units would have survived, sometimes i tunnel too much and dont see the better way. And i play Rhinos as often as Hacker, something i should change to be honest, both are good units

@@Retrogamer9 Yeah rhino like hacker can be a bit hit of miss, but if you play rhino when they don't expect it nad don't have good counters, even just a lvl 2 rhino can easily snowball into something they HAVE to respond to. And worst case, you put the explosion tech on it and it can cause damage even if it doesn't kill much on its own, forcing them to react further on countering it.

@@GeckoOBac well it would force them to either attack it via Air or build a hacker with the heal upgrade, played that one myself against a suicide rhino. I will try to think of rhinos more, even if crawler can ruin their carreer with the acid upgrade but i dont see many yet playing that variant

@@Retrogamer9 The problem with the acid upgrade is that is a very harsh double edged sword. It can work but you're also fucking yourself up when you start winning because now you're getting damaged by your own stuff, because unlike fire acid remains till the end of the round as far as I can tell. As for the hacker, that's a kind viable one, if they do it early or en masse but if the rhino starts to get upgrades the hacker may not be fast enough. And it still forced them to pick it over other things and you can counter the hacked rhino with your own markmen rather easily.

@@GeckoOBac Yrah acid can be a problem for your own tanks as well, stretching the match when you could have used the damage to win the match earlier. But its a cheap solution for a problem and can buy time for a better counter

Yeah, since they worked on the Hackers they became valuable units, especially when they have the health restore upgrade in...anoying but the back and forth with the vulkan was funny not gonna lie

First of all thank you for the comment and feedback :) Yeah when it comes to strategy i tend to be a bit quieter when i think about the next steps to take, its a bad habit for videos, i will try to keep that in mind to voice my mind more. As the game will now enter early access i will make more videos, so lot of room to improve. Also not as an excuse, but the videos were also recorded around 3 to 4 am, i may have choosen a bad time^^"

sowas in der art, die Geschosse können auch von einem Sternensystem zu einem anderen verschossen werden. die Geschosse (was hier jetzt leider nicht gezeigt wird) werden durch den Subspace befördert, worin sie faktisch mit überlichtgeschwindigkeit fliegen, auch wenn sie es nicht tun. Der Subspace der hier genutzt wird hat kein richtiges Konzept für Raum, nur für Zeit. Die Geschosse selbst haben einen Generator der ein Feld erzeugt das das Geschoss im Subspace hält solange er Energie erzeugen kann. Fällt dieser aus tritt das Geschoss wieder in den normalen Raum ein. Die Aufgabe der Ringe ist es den Generator richtig aufzuladen und dann das Geschoss in den Subspace zu befördern. Abgesehen vom komplizierten technischen Part ist es quasi eine interplanetare Railgun, mit wesentlich mehr Reichweite und der Möglichkeit auch andere Objekte durch den Subspace zu befördern^^

@@Retrogamer9 cool. Richtet man die Kannone nur auf "Masse-Schatten" Im hyperraum aus oder wie funktioniert das zielen der Kannone? Währe cool wenn das Schiff noch eine eine Art spotter begleitschiff oder vanguard flotte hat, die die Ziele markiert für das Schiff.

@@matzenino nun, das Schiff ist im Normalfall Teil einer Flotte, hauptsächlich Versorgung und Begleitschutzschiffe. Das Schiff kann von sich aus Ziele erfassen, aber es kann auch andere Flottenverbände unterstützen welche dann genauere Zielkoordinaten geben können. Koordiniert wird das ganze von sogenannten Witches, das sind genetisch veränderte Menschen sozusagen, die auf eine intuitive Art direkt mit dem Computer eines Schiffes verbunden sind. Sozusagen ein Bewusstsein für ein Schiff, und je nach Fähigkeitsgrad können diese Personen Schiffe unterschiedlicher Größen kontrollieren. Im Kampffall würden die Witches der unterschiedlichen Schiffe sich selbst koordinieren sodass die Arbeit der Crew in dem Sinne wesentlich vereinfacht ist. Aber wieder in kurz: Ja das Schiff hat normalerweise eine Begleiterflotte, aber da ich zwischen Star Trek und Eigenkreationen hin und her pendel und unterschiedlich stark motiviert bin dauert es leider endlos bis ich mal wieder was fertig habe in dem Sinn^^"
