TOAKS Titanium Backpacking Wood Burning Stove

TOAKS Titanium Backpacking Wood Burning Stove is compact/light, easy to use, and of high efficiency. Titanium material is light and strong. The stove comprises of three parts, which can be stacked into each other and packed inside a fine and strong nylon stuff sack. Base on the flow field calculation of the optimized gas intake, the stove’s high efficiency is achieved because of its 2nd and 3rd...
This is my fav. alcohol stove system. I use the 750 ml pot w/bail handle. Fits perfectly and the stand will block wind in the low teens quite well. I will use tin foil around it if windier. For larger dia. pots I place (2) three sided tent stakes (Walmart) over the top of the pot stand and (for me) I place the Toaks D103mm 550ml bowl to heat food in so I can keep the 750 for boiling water only. Heats great and the 3 sided stakes are more than enough to let the fuel burn efficiently w/o going out. Did I say the stand nests in the 750 w/the stove fuel and more. And, the 750 will nest in the 550 bowl. 6 yrs and going strong.
Thank you. Almost went with the 1300 cook kit. But after seeing this short, bought the 1100 instead with the D118 bowl. Good to see that Toak's still makes these products. But sadly, no more coating on the handles.

@ Toaks any tips for reducing the soot on the pot? ie getting a cleaner burn
Try a different fuel charcoal heat beads
Room for any stove?
fire goes in all directions, too wild
Absolutely love this dynamoc little set!

Does the base get hot to the point it can cause heat damage to the surface it’s on.
what pan is that?
Looks like it’s either from the SOTO kit or an Amazon Chinese knockoff aluminum kit.
Or, come to think of it, I think the 1100 Toaks is available with a lid/frying pan. It could be that, too.
@SmokeytheJeep are you having a laugh?
I was wondering if anyone else has a 1100ml pot and pan with only two lines on the side? I have a 750ml pot and all the measurement lines clearly make sense but the two in the 1100ml only read 04 and 08? Can't find videos on this and was wondering what they meant?
Will the pan fit over the bowl?
Unfortunately the pan does not fit over the bowl. The bowl is wider than the pan.
found on: “ simon, a bloke in the woods” channel from UK. youtube
Overpriced
Sweet! Thank you
i dont see why you needed a big canister, bring the small canister and you have more room for stove and such
Looks like a LOT of heat is wasted, it might be handy do design a pot that has some ring at the bottom that redirects all the heat back to the middle where the pot is located. Just a ring that blocks heat to escape to the sides of the pot will do I guess.
You missed a trick ;) the 550 D95 with lid fits inside the 550 D103 (no lid) fits inside the D115 with lid.
Is that a public Table?
The maxpedition 12x5 bottle holder can fit 120mm or slightly more, It can fit the entire half gallon ozark trail bottle and that is 4.75" and it zips exactly on the lid perfect fit. anyway 120mm is a hair smaller than 4.75" so this should fit.
🧐you have me thinking. Will the handles snag? Or you can store it upside down with the bowl as the lid.
With 750 ml toaks bag can i use to store both?
When with bowl nested, the width at the bottom increase by 8mm, the bag may feel tight at the top if it fits perfectly with pot before. Please contact us if it happens.
i'm sure my brain is having a sever lapse of judgement, but can you fit the alcohol stove kit combo thingo, with the firewood stove as well, or do they not fit inside one another? because honestly having a little fire pit around even if not for cooking sounds like a ton of fun to me.
Hi Max, the alcohol stove itself is very compact and can fit inside any of TOAKS cup/pot or wood stove. The panels of port stand are wider and may not fit inside small cups. If you can tell us which pot, wood stove, etc you like to fit, we can provide more direct answers. Thanks!
@@toaksoutdoor3879 good to know, thank you very much for the information!
Toaks Titanium small wood burning stove...can this stove be used with out adding the top part and using a separate pot stand? Would you try it...and make a video of you doing it... I'll
Se puede hacer una en casa usando latas.??.es muy buen video.!!
good choice getting this stove the more I watch it burning the more I want one. 🤠
Do you know if the 750 will fit into a GSI Glacier cup?
Based on the published information of GSI Glacier cups, the diameter is 4.2' for small model and 4.1' for large model. If these dimensions are accurate, then the 750 can fit into these cups.
Best video TOAKS Titanium.
Anyone know if the 1100ml Pot and Pan fit inside a Maxpedition 12”x5” bottle holder? Dimension on the 1100ml says 4” 1/2 or 4” 3/8.
What is smaller pot setup for double boiler? 900ml to big for me
Where should I buy it?
Please check our official website toaksoutdoor.com. We list dealers at the dealer page. Thank you!
Will the 750 ml fit on the bottom and over the top of a 36 oz nalgene ?
Yes the 750ml pot can fit on the bottom of a 36oz Nalgene bottle.
The LOUD FUNKY music just puts me off. And, yes, I am a Toaks product user.
you mean you're not trying to rave while backpacking?
Newspaper. In the backcountry. Still, good demo. Well shot.
It is a bad design. You put a bigger pot without those sticks, and what happens? I've seen many bad stands, this is just one. the burn gases need come out, also without any isolating less restricting stands. Alcohol stoves need a stand and then also a windscreen for any pot size. Usually they are not combined and should not be.
But is this configutation perfect for this pot dimentions? If so, then it's not a bad design. If you want more versatility (bigger pots, pans, etc.) then use another stand. I thing I just found a perfect solution for this especific configuration. Superligjtweigjt compact Stand + windscreen for any small acohool stove + pots from 450 to 750mm (enough for 1 person).
@@dacelo3 Yeah I just bought one used on the “e-bid” sight NEW $15 & a used TOAKS siphon stove (same place today) with fuel 200 proof denatured alcohol 3/4 of a quart for a discounted price of $20 to use with my TOAKS 550ml & 750ml mugs! Great deals & a great combination
@@dacelo3 what system did you create out of curiousity? Please share!
@@carologiwan501 I'm refering to the video configuration. I'll try that one for 1 person ultralight weight hikes.
Would you please let me know the dimensions of each peace of this pot stand? Thank you .
Of each ☮️✌🏼?
That could have been produced to watch. In. Less than 5 minutes... loading one stick at a time and ripping paper to shreds?
I have the 550ml Light pot with lid is there a 750ml one, i can put my 550ml inside?
The 750ml pot has the same diameter as the 550ml pot, so they can not nest each other. You would need TOAKS Titanium 900ml D115mm Pot (POT-900-D115) to put the 550ml pot inside.
@@toaksoutdoor3879 how about the 550ML D103MM bowl ? Or have a 750ml bowl or similar?
@ Yes. The 550ml D103mm bowl is designed to nest the 550ml pot (or 650, 750ml pot) from outside.
@@toaksoutdoor3879 cool, would the 550ml D103mm bowl also funktion as double boiler on my 550ml Light pot? Like on your video from 550ml D118mm bowl + 900ml D115mm pot ?
@ Unfortunately it cannot. The bowl is bigger than the rim diameter of the 550 pot, 103mm vs 96mm. You can put the bowl over the pot, but there is no engagement.
Like watching grass grow or paint dry. Would it kill ya to say a little something about it.
I’m vibing on my 750ml cup. Now I’m thinking I need the frying pan, spoon and gasifier stove now... I’ll be doing a review on the cup soon.
Thanks.✌
Do you think it would work if you only used 3 of the sides put together to create a sort of triangular shape ?
They always make the side air flow holes way to big on these type of things and it hurts wind blocking. They could have easily made the holes half the size they are. Would have blocked much more wind and still allowed plenty of airflow for the burner.
Yeah, less expensive spirit burners can be found on Ebay that work just as well. They may not bloom as quickly, but boil times are equivocal.
Try it with the BRS 3000T. It's very small.
@T4nk3r did you get to try this? I just picked up the 900 and am wondering how much room there is. Wanna try adding a folding spoon too lol
I’ve used cookware like that on smaller stoves, the only issue is the heat distribution being too little to effectively cook anything that isn’t in the center of the pot/pan.
I have this gem of a stove. It cranks out a ton of heat! The cross bars are necessary. The filling window is not huge, break your fuel up finer to keep it roaring. It can be overfilled, losing valuable gasses that could have been burned. If you have lots of smoke once it is going, slow down the refill rate. The stove is tippy. Watch your load! There is a need for a taller windscreen or shelter from wind to avoid losing heat. Pure hardwood charcoal lumps , not briquettes) burn at over 500° and last longer than dry twigs and wood chips. You will refill less often. You can scavenge charcoal from old fires for free heat. Stove can be sooty after use. You can burn it clean in fireplace embers. What an amazing stove.
Thanks for writing this, you have convinced me!
This is the comment that convinced me to just buy the emberlit.
