Pewsey Vale FC equalise against North Leigh FC.
Переглядів 3676 років тому
North Leigh took an early lead, but just before half-time they had a defender sent off for a rather rude remark to a Pewsey forward whom he'd just chopped down. The free kick led to a corner, from which Vale equalised. Despite the extra man - and an extra two men for the last few minutes, after another early bath for two bookings - North Leigh held on bravely for a point.

Early in the Hellenic League Division One West clash, Pewsey apply pressure, and hit the bar when it looks easier to score. They later went behind to Clanfield FC, but got a late equaliser.

Krypton Factor: Andrew doesn't crash
Very good road and sky trip movie
Thanks for that Andrew. Brought back happy memories.
Have you been doing spirals of death?
Man I loved this part of the show when I was a kid
Amazing performance! I remember it well, I didn't get to see the final because it was my Birthday the week after, still haven't seen it!
Co Pilot like dis 🤠👍
Is that the spot where the Warner Bros. Studios is nowadays?
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge the passion with which the compare narrated this battle of wills, sucking us further in to the triumph and failures of the candidates as they steamed through the course. .. might we also wonder how soft the current generation has become because you'd never be able to do this on a TV show now.
I don't think they'd send us contestants down that zip wire without a safety harness these days! We just had loops around our wrists.
@@andrewjcraig That was exactly what I thought when I commented. There was a BBC show much later (but now long ago I guess). Can't quite remember the title but it was brutal in parts. Bunch of young uni guys go off to do 'tribal coming of age' initiations around the world. Great TV, but the second series had already being curtailed to 'softer' encounters.
@@andrewjcraig you were a contestant on this?
@@nathanielhill5887 Yes, in 1992.
@@andrewjcraig what was the show like?
From crashing in the heats to winning the round in the GF
I didn't crash in the heats - I just never came down!
Insane! Very very good!
Thank you! Cheers!

Amazing. Andrew Doubled his score.
That must have been the most frightening thing ever!
No, I had British Airways' chief training captain sitting beside me!
@@andrewjcraig You're certainly braver than I am, I could have had the head of the RAF sat next to me and I'd still have been petrified! Fair play to you.

You don't happen to remember the other contestants who were with you in your first episode?
Scots geezer, Alex, was a copper. Can't remember the other two. Will see if I have them on tape.
Great video! Thanks for sharing :)
Disgusting disinformation group. Watch the ukcolumn news instead.
Silly boy!
You worked for BBC? Enough said
Yes, and the corporation's veterans football team was at the heart of our plan for global domination!
Andrew Craig Blimey Andy, more honest than your friend Sopel, trust me, I would go Dave Busst on that lying hack. Anyway your organisation is going down the crapper with releasethememo.
Release what memo? Is there a secret memo about the BBC Veterans football team?
Andrew Craig are you a common purpose graduate?
No.
Do you have the full episode of this?
I have it on a CD but I can't get my computer to play it - only my telly. I have it on an old video tape, too.
Okay then, just checking.
Why didn’t you upload the whole thing? You monster!

Great performance, a trip down memory lane for me growing up with this on Monday nights. Have you got the full, unabridged episodes of your heat, group final and grand final you can upload??
Got them on CDs, but for some reason I can only play them on my telly, not my computer.
Wow indredible Andrew if you figure it out it would mean a huge amount if you upload the 1992 Grand Final it would mean a huge amount ::)
I think you hold the record Andrew for the most ever points in general knowledge.
Brilliant Andrew 👏👏👏👏
Fantastic performance, but I’m surprised you didn’t get the whetstone bridge answer (electricity) nevertheless that was brilliant under lots of pressure.
I'd never heard of a Wheatstone Bridge - but my mum's old friend, sitting beside her in the audience, knew it as a retired engineer!
Was very impressed Andrew with the way you won the series, like bisto you saved the best till last.

Wish I could see the whole episode of the grand final. I routed for you to be the champion.
That's cool
I can only sigh
Filming by Brigid Craig.
You would have made a good pilot!
I am only a paraglider pilot!
Even as a young boy in the UK I always loved the World Service as it gave me an insight into global events we didn't always get to hear about properly at home. It ain't the same away from Bush House but time moves on I guess. Lovely pictures and a "Big Country" song I'd never heard ! Nice !
any chance you could upload the full episodes of these?
Nicely done.
RIP Roger Lloyd Pack, who appeared in the drama filmed for the observation round of that year's Krypton Factor.
Can you give us details as to who won each heat in Group C? Which heat did you win?
I won heat C1 -- I'm not sure which heats the others came from, sorry.
In these later years of the series in the group finals, the winner of heat 1 was in red, heat 2 winner in green, heat 3 winner in yellow and the highest scoring runner up was in blue. However this didn't always happen. One example being the 1989 Group C Final, in Red was Dougie Forde who won Heat 2, in green was Liz Vasey who was that group's highest scoring runner up, in yellow was Mike Brennan who won Heat 1 and lastly in blue was Alan Hoar who won heat 3. From 1990 the line-up kept in line with the order of victory in the heats, Heat 1 winner in Red, Heat 2 in Green, Heat 3 in Yellow and the Group's Highest Scoring Runner Up in Blue.
Wow, impressive Andrew!
i'll never use anything else again
Happy Shopper should pay me a lot for this.
what a beautiful montage that recalls the magic that was Bush House. Glad that it hasn't been thrown away....
Don't you get tour risers twisted? :-)
I may be living in Borneo but I get true news from BBC from radio since the 80s. People talk about the end of SW radio and for me, the end will come when BBC stops
My name is Tom Wickham
@andrewjcraig Just needed a steeper slope or longer brake lines!
@rchambersuk Well, he had a saw and a pair of secateurs in his harness, so he must have been expecting it!
Yep, seen variations of this.... Hands down, trot off, come to grief...... Weird eh......
Wow, he was really determined to hit those trees!
