How can Jordan be considered the goat while he sure the fuck wasn't the greatest of THIS particular time ?

Always the team player Worthy would kind of pick his spots and let Kareem and Magic do their thing. But come playoff time he would suddenly be ‘the guy’ and could give you like a 33 and 10 stat line in a big game. I recall a regular season game against the Celts. With Magic out Worthy just kept posting up and went to work - he ended up with 35 that night. No easy buckets - all on set offense.
