Yes I drew and rigged this model from scratch using live2d. The smoothness of the movement can also depend on the tracking quality (ie, quality of the tracking program, the webcam/phone, computer resources, lag, etc) But to have any movement you have to rig the model

Android, IOS, or in the computer version? Fyi you don't need the model on your phone to be able to stream with it, you just need it on your computer

@@Balls199 1. Yes you need an image to make a live2d vtuber model 2. Doesn't need to have any specific body parts, people make slimes and octopi, anything can work. Doesnt even need to have eyes and mouth actually 3. First you get an image and make it live2d ready, then you rig it in live2d. After you're done rigging you export it and use it in your program of choice

They're entirely separate programs. Live2d is the program used to rig the model, facerig is used for the facetracking

@@querrieoh Oh I was considering getting a face rig since it seems that it responds a lot more with the eyebrows compared to Vtube Studio.

The vtube studio version in the video is the Android version, so eyebrow and eye tracking is pretty low. The IOS version is the best. Facerig uses webcam. Android vts has better mouth tracking imo, but also better expression and animation hotkey integration. You can even switch idle animations with a key. Plus facerig is being discontinued(wont be able to buy, and bugs won't be fixed) by 2021

I don't agree on the quality aspect. If you mean video resolution, you can blame by screen capture and editing methods. If the face tracking seems low q, blame me using an android instead of an IOS device, what most pro vtubers use Overall I think vtube studio is a better program, especially with its upcoming features and ease of integrating expression and animation hotkeys

Hi! You first need a layered psd with the separated model pieces. You do not necessarily need to draw them, you can commission another artist, or use an image you already have (you can always practice on images you find, BUT if you post them properly you may get into trouble if you don't have the artist's permission)

@@querrieoh oh okay, like I have to get an image of a character that has different expressions etc to make it work -correct? I was thinking of using a 3D character model since I use MMD (I am assuming you know of this program since its burnt out sadly by people sigh) I was thinking if it was possibly to transfer my oc :O

Not necessarily: If you get a bunch of different expression assets you'll have to do texture swapping, which I don't personally like. I prefer deformation, aka you separate parts so that you can manipulate them into the expressions you want. All my models so far use deformation, not texture swapping. Your best chances will be recreating your character in 2d by drawing, as trying to use a screenshot of a 3d model is tricky
