A big fix to pvp! Also, an introduction to my second channel :)
Hey, i didnt see this video until earlier this morning. Didn't get it recommended in my feed or in my subscribed creator
This is my second channel, that may be why!
@moreslicehenry5553 I didn't know you had one. Is there a reason you don't advertise it much?
These videos are so helpful and, surprisingly, rare! Thanks man
Henry you articulate creative beast!! Such underrated content and the community is lucky to have someone willing to put the time an effort in to helping others improve at the game!!
Really good idea for vid
One of the best PvP videos I have watched in long time. My my my this was so engaging!
I do remember when you encountered a lileep on stream, shoulda built one lol
so needless to say, i would’ve lost all of these games.
Amazing, I didn't watch the video yet but I find this very entertaining, can we send you our own clips?
You have no idea how it made me to hear you compare the game to chess!! Somebody gets it 👊🏼👊🏼
I like this idea very much and yes, I agree that showing only one trainer would be better and near the decisive moment time should be at real speed. Because while I could figure out eventually 4 shadow claws, transfer damage on clodsire and then throw after 1, I could never do that in real time.
This new text background with summarized explanation is a great addition 🔥
8:02 what 🤯🤯🤯
Love this series idea, definitely something I need to work on
Love your content, and I like the battle education idea from this video. I've often wondered some of the common terms you use; CMP tie, Switch advantage, Charge attack priority, Alignment, etc... Over the past few months that I've been playing and a lot of that time I've subbed and been watching your matches to get pointers, I have learned some of those terms. But to have a Battle League Basics, 101 level education video would be cool to have all those things explained. I reached Ace ranking for the first time recently and I owe some of it to you and your videos highlighting the different strategies used in your play-by-play commentary over the battle submissions. Keep up the great work.
Quality content, greetings from Cordoba Argentina❤
what about health advantage? xD even up shield and energy if you dont have enough health you can just lose. I often get too greedy save shields or energy just to lose because my mons took too much damage. I think this only happens to people like that cant read the rival team, or forget what was their lead pokemon and their energy xD
This series is exactly what I need. Can't wait for the 'how to count moves' for dummies video. Why isn't this on your main channel?
You're on fire with these video ideas and execution! This is such a fun and unique way to help people see and think about win cons, which is such a hard concept to be good at, taking a second to look at the information and allowing players to think about it is brilliant! Maybe add a little context during the pause? (HP % or residual energy etc.)
Really awesome content. I will study all of these!!
In my opinion, this video helped me understand, especially for those of us who are still a bit into PvP, so it helped me understand and I would like there to be more videos like this in the future, and I hope you have a great day and video.
7:40 Everyone playing Great League should know this option/tactic since Talonflame is so common. Sometimes that is your only win con and I've used it myself a lot when Morpeko first came out lol.
Thanks man, amazing idea.
Damnn we really got at pvp puzzles before pvppoke xD. I loved the concept but id be so much better if you had just the half of the screen from where we continue the play along w the opps team sheet. It would make it so much more realistic on accord of team reads and then figuring the wincon. Honestly i got all my picks right but i think i might not have if i didnt knew the 3 mons the opp is using.
Love such series about win con and mechanics. Nice. Keep it up! Next up could be shield or not to shield
After months of watching you I just assumed I was subscribed. I wasn't and I apologise for that! Have a good day!
thank you msh.
Amazing
Great video as always! I will say however that blind 3's would be a better format to showcase these lessons as that is what most battlers will be playing. I'd also argue identifying a win condition in blind 3's is more nuanced than in show 6 pick 3. Other than that, thanks again for helping the pvp community!
Tbh these videos r more better than the pvp gameplay ones
This series is awesome. Thanks
I only had 1 wrong, nice
Great idea but I suggest only using recent battles
That's an awesome concept, thanks!! I'd suggest to present the puzzles a tad slower - I needed to go back a couple times to understand what was exactly happening.
Good job Henry
Love this type of video. This was fun and really insightful!
I love it 🤩💯
Amazing. You are making pvp interesting
This was awesome! For half of them I was like: uhhhhh idk And then be like: oh yeah that makes perfect sense.
I love this and hope you continue with these kinds of videos. I think one aspect of battle strategy that I struggle with that also affects my ability to determine win cons is reading team compositions. In some of these puzzles you pause the timer when the player in question doesn't actually know what the back Pokemon is/are yet. I imagine they have a good guess, but I personally struggle focusing on this while still counting moves and looking for the opponent's swap ins. And this skill is even harder in GBL where you don't have the team sheets in front of you (although there are common "teams" in developed metas that make it obvious sometimes). Would love a video focusing on that if possible! Cheers
love this idea and video 👌
Inadequance looks like Stevie from Eastbound & Down
Thanks for the awesome videos man. These tips and tricks are greatly appreciated. 🙏🏾
What? This is such a cool idea Edit: I got them all!
Please upload more of these videos
Great content! This will let others know that GO battle is more than just tapping.
Please keep this type of video coming. The counting, team building I’ve capped out on. I need to practice recognizing win cons much more
Bro I loved this. Thanks Henry!
I'm so proud of myself for seeing the wincon in the feraligatr vs talon matchup
This is a great concept for a video series! However, doing the matches of the big tournies some people might already know how it plays out. Maybe some lesser known battles or just some random viewer submitted battles might work better knowing what to do with lesser known comps could be cool!
This is gas. We need more of these videos
