This was so moving. We should make a museum memorial in Pranjani. It would be a proper tribute to all those forgotten heroes, the airmen and their chetnik saviors. It’d be great to visit that site.

As a Serbian born American citizen, I am encouraged to see the truth being told by heroes like your dad who were there to give a first hand eyewitness account of these historic events. I read the book "The Forgotten 500" with tears in my eyes and a thankful heart for soldiers like your dad who lived to tell this remarkable story. It's unfortunate that political narrative against the Serbs even today continues to suppress this miraculous and most successful rescue story of WWII. Hollywood could not have scripted a better story than the actual true events. All the best to you and your family.

I too I'm a child of a forgotten 500 airmen thank you for all you have done.🌹my dad was the same way and I feel the same way my dad was s j methvin.

I knew....I was only 7 when ww2 began ...I was interested in reading all about it .....Chetniks were heros to me...I used to tell People when we played war, that I was General Mihailovik.....I was excited when the British sent a woman to help him and write to tell the world the truth about what was really goin gon......Mihaailovic was the patriot, Tito a communist.... and at the end of the war there was a question about who would run Yugoslavia........WE all know what happened then . Against Churchills pleas Roosevelt gave it to Tito , stepped away and let him do his worst.........I cried at the outcome....I blame Roosevelt for it...........Chetiks fought for their country , the Croations fought for communism.. Thank you for this .......I WISH I HAD A CHANCE TO TALK TO YOUR FATHER........THANK YOU FOR THIS.....(i am an American,,,,some of us knew )

Dragi Srbi u rasejanju, nemojte ovom preobraženom komunisti koji je nekada snimao komunističke filmove kao partizanska eksandrila, a koji stavlja non stop Boga u usta a tek se na insistiranje žene venčao u crkvi prošle godine da mu dajete pare da nastavi da snima ovu limunadu od serije, potrošio je milion evra za 10 epizoda a nijedna akciona scena, ništa, sem tumaranja po Tari, a koju u poslednjoj scenu prikazuje kao Ravna gora i sa emotivnim nabojem namerno napravljen da bi vama i nama ovde u Srbiji uzeo pare za snimanje još dve hiljade epizoda, a sve u režiji njegove familije od sina, ćerke, zeta..STOP! On kao da ne zna da mi imamo dokumentovanu seriju u 9 epizoda Ravnogorska čitanka isto na RTS itd
