a random collection of country, gospel, blues and folk music. Music that many baby boomers grew up hearing and enjoying. I should say that I do not own any of the copyrights except for my own original material, nor do I earn any money or promotional items for my videos. This is one of those songs where I just like the melody. The story's kind of sad, but the melody is a nis bouncy feel good one. I hope you enjoy this rendition. Thank you all and as always be blessed.

You have shared quite a few songs that I never heard before and it was a pleasure learning them, Daniel! Thanks very much!
That's a sad song. You sing it so prettily though and I always love that ringing guitar! Thanks, Daniel!
I really enjoyed this one, Daniel! I loved hearing that it was a favorite of yours and why. Thanks for sharing that sweet story!
Thank you your comments are always such a blessing.
I hadn't heard this one but you sound great, Daniel! Thank you for the pretty introduction!

Thank you, your comment is seriously appreciated.
Very good rendition, Daniel!
thank you very much.
Good song I like the quitar
Thank you so much.
Just a little rushed I thought . I would have sung it a bit more thoughtfully , and let the guitar ring out a bit more . 😊
Thank you, your comment is sincerely appreciated.
I found your video , what drew my attention was your guitar . I had an Ibanez Concord , i got it in 1974 , i had that guitar for 30 odd years , i wore it out . People used to comment on how good it sounded . Dare I say it better than the Big G . In August 2024 I got an Epiphone Dove , it is a Great Looking guitar . You are fortunate to have your Hummingbird in Great Condition .
Thank you. I bought mine in 1976 out in State College, PA. It has had the nut replaced and a bridge fix as the bridge was pulling on the body. I played it in a country band and had a double humbucker from musicians friend back in the mid 80s. It's been through alot but I love it and wouldn't dream of getting rid of it. I appreciate your comment and your story. Thanks again
Thanks for answering , on my Ibanez ( it was a Concord model ,it was a Hummingbird ) , the bridge started lifting from the body after a while , so now on my Dove after playing I loosen off the strings so there is no tension on the bridge . I paid $1,000 Australian Dollars for it , I believe they go for about $ 500 in USA , do with the exchange rate . I live in Sydney , my hero was Johnny Cash , he was the reason I persevered with the guitar . I have 2 Electric Guitars with Humbuckers , and a Squier Telecaster with the 2 Single Coil pickups , and my Epiphone Dove which has a Piezo pickup in the body of the guitar . So I can play Country , Rock n Roll , and Blues .
Not familiar with the song, sounds good
Tank you.

This is an old one for sure.. my mom used to sing it ( in waltz time). Great rendition Daniel ! ♫•*¨*•.¸¸ ♫
I thought I had heard it a long time ago in3/4 time. But most of the versions I listened to on You Tube seemed to favor 4/4. I really had to work at it to keep from sliding into the waltz time. Thank you for listening and your wonderful comment. Be blessed.
