This is Eye on Springfield!
Info is good, but it’s so hard to hear over all the background noise
I can’t believe you FF thru the Fridge’s TD!!
Th music is a distraction and annoying.
The play clock should count into negative numbers when it hits zero time left and ball not snapped
Thank you
First Varsity Game tonight and I'm a Back Judge. Also, huge point of emphasis is watching Offensive/Defensive Pass Interference as well as "catching."
Why the music???
😂
sketch up is terrible. same with music
I didn't learn a damn thing from this video; I suggest having someone do this that is more well spoken and doesn't merely mumble his way through the video. What a waste of time...what's the point of the video if most of it doesn't say much of anything?
What is the purpose of the clip?
mark the furthest long line (45 yard line, 30 yard line, etc) from the line to gain for the purposes of measurement and end of quarter change of ends of the field
Good video. Shorten your pre-roll.
Fellow Florida official myself, that music 🤦♂️🙄
For the 2021 high school season I had 67 games (HS, MS and youth) and I was line judge for most of those games and I’ve really grown to love that position. For the 2022 season I’m hoping for some back judge games because that’s a position I really wanna learn
Back judge is a position I wanna learn and do in the 2022 season so this was a great video to watch
Interesting choice in song to start the tutorial there... Kinda figure THAT song.., is a little more well suited, for ya know… The END
Great information, but there HAD. To be an easier way to create this than Sketch Up! 🤣
Thanks for the informative video
Love the “Eye on Springfield” intro music
BJ also has to Pregame with the... 1. Clock Operator 2. should walk the field 3. Pregame with ball personel 4. Should pre-game with punt returners and strength of kickers leg
Interesting. Now with the 40/25 play clock, BJ typically is responsible for that. LJ is usually the backup timer. To be safe, I wear a play clock device on my belt, and keep a backup game clock on my wristwatch. If I have radio, I also communicate with my SJ (7-man crew) or LJ (5-man crew) about clock status and times.
In my 5 years so far of officiating I still haven’t had an umpire assignment yet. I’m mainly a headlines man, line judge or back judge
Well it's time to jump into the meat grinder. :D Start with a JV game to get your feet wet... our association has us out of our normal positions for JV games then back to our regular for Varsity.
@@johndyoung3356 that’s pretty similar with what we do. You get your most comfortable/best at position on varsity then move around on subvarsity. But I came back to this video because I’ve been assigned to two youth games as the umpire so I gotta start studying!
Do yall work 5 or 6 man crews in SGFOA... Isaac what do yall do in oregon 5 or 6 man... i officiate in Miss we use 6 man crews
Love the techmobowl music
Does Juventus know y’all jacked their logo?
Underrated comment.
Thanks a lot for all your videos
Great video, is that music from Nintendo's 80's game excite bike?
I think it’s Techmo Bowl
What about positions on kicks and long runs or passes? And when does back judge get spot?
Kickoff 20 yd line on 5 man
Back Judge hands the ball to the kicker on a free kick. On punts, he is 5 yards behind the returner (deepest, if more than 1 returner), or at the goal line, if the punt is from the 50 yard line and in. On field goal attempts, he is under one upright with either a wing official or umpire, depending on association mechanics. He is responsible for ruling on kicks going under/over the crossbar and for the upright closest to him. He blows the whistle on tries and field goals when the kick either scores or misses.
In Oregon NFHS I’m pretty sure it’s no less than 5 no more than 4 in the back. 🤔 idk if it’s just different in Florida
Hello Isaac, this video is from last year before the rule change occurred
Gotcha fair enough. Thank you for the videos! It has been very informative for me so far!! Been using these to prepare my rookie self.
@@isaacmcallister8147 Thumbs up emoji!! Good luck this season.
I like the info, but not a fan of the music.
Good presentation.
Solid video. Love the ‘Eye on Springfield’ theme.
