I was there! He threw his sunglasses and hit me square in the face, but my arms were pinned to my sides. At 17 years old, one of the greatest experiences of my life. I actually got to meet Rob a few years later through Lemmy, one of his best friends. Both super nice guys.

Metallica is my all time favorite band and this was the first time I got to see them. I'm a 25 year old man, but when Ecstasy Of Gold came on I started to tear up, and when the first note of Creeping Death played, I cried.

I'm 52 and this was my 6th show, first time around in 89 on the "And Justice for All" tour with Newsted still in the band. It never gets old and their shows just get bigger and bigger as their fan base just keeps growing! I've never seen them with nearly 80k other people, this was a great sight to see! Making à 2nd flight down to Phoenix to catch that 2nd show this Saturday! Hope you all can make it

I have notice more and more shows lately (that aren't small club extreme metal shows) have been boring. My girlfriend and I want to throw down and so many large crowds lately are boring as hell. We were at this show to the left off screen for this video, and we kept going "It's Pantera resurrected from the dead, why is no one smashing this place up?"
