Coconut dance reflects a means of expression and gestures of romance amongst the young villagers. It is a vibrant expression of Cambodian creativity and ingenuity This dance is normally performed at holidays, weddings, and festivals. The coconut shells symbolize youth, fertility, and the usefulness of coconut crops in Cambodian life.

Robam Boung Soung Tiyae is a prayer dance. Created in the late 40s to 50s by Royal Ballet Palace Mistress Mâm Em Dok Peay.
