Hi Bruce, learning a lot from your videos even though I'm just a sim flyer. If you don't mind answering a question, when on ILS approach how do you get out of AP mode gracefully for landing, so you don't have to fight it? What's the procedure? Do you press the AP button to disengage it, SAS/AP CUT or just APMD DCPL? Can you disengage it with a button on the cyclic? Many thanks for your help! :)

A great video! We as mechanics need to be extra cautious when we complete maintenance since this is not the first accident involving a loose fuel line. Have someone check your work and if they don't know what you have done, show them.

Thank you for watching and making comment James! Many accidents may be avoided if we would all abide by a few fundamental concepts...do not rush, avoid (reduce) distractions, follow checklists, and get a second set of eyes and/or second opinion.

Very Interesting Video. I am not yet a Helicopter Pilot, looking forward to becoming one. But I have a Commercial Pilot License on fixed-wing Aircraft. Please enlighten me on the reliability bit of H135. What is the Accident History in the Last 10 Years? If you were to advise your Friend who is interested in buying the H135 for Private Travel, what would your kind and sincere words of advice be? You may consider touching on the aspect of ease of Learning How to Fly the H135 Helicopter, ease of Flying the H135 (Can you remove your feet and hands when the Autopilot is Engaged? since it is a 4-axis Autopilot ), Ease of Use of the Flight Management System, Training aspects, Operational Costs, Service Intervals, Landing Space required for a Private Helipad, Noise Tolerance for Neighbors in case of a Private Helipad at a Private Residential Home.
