Leadership is about the ability to motivate and inspire. Admiral R. L. Pereira, 9th Chief of Naval Staff (1979-1982) is remembered even today, twenty-five years after his untimely death in 1993, as one of the greatest Military leaders the Armed Forces has produced. His contributions have had a lasting effect on the Indian Navy. Admiral Pereira had been awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM)...
We ❤the Admiral, Ronnie L Parrera .Areal gentleman & officer. The Deputy Commandant of the world famous Academy, National Defence Academy,Khadakwasla.
Thanks for these photographs. It makes me nostalgic. My father served in the Indian Navy for 34 years and retired as a Commodore. Thus, after having grown up in this lovely fraternity makes me long for photographs/videos. I'm grateful you uploaded these. My compliments to you and the efforts behind manning this UA-cam channel. I had two questions: 1. At 02:33, is that Capt. MN Mulla, MVC (Posthumous) kneeling on the left? 2. At 02:40, one can see Cdr. and Mrs. Nanavati, but is that Adm Pereira on the left? Were Adm. Pereira and Cdr. Nanavati friends? Thank you in advance! :)
Thank you for the kind words of appreciation. Those indeed were special times and this video is one such small tribute to navy’s forebears who endowed the service with a rich legacy. I can respond with a fare sense of confidence when saying that was indeed Capt Mulla, as well as, V Adm JTG Pereira and Cdr Nanavati. And yes, these officers were good friends. Hope this helps
Beautiful 😍
Happy to see all young cadets
आयुष्यातील सर्वोत्तम 3 वर्षे ट्रेनिंग इथे झाले . NDA पुणे .
Really Nostalgic!❤
How I wish we had as many videos of our days and of the legendary lot of Instructors like Mr Keshwani, Prem Singh, Sawardekar, Bhandari , ambidextrous Srivastava who could write on Black Board while looking at the class & yes-- also Mr Mankikar, Gauri Shankar, The then Maj Darshan Singh, Divine Jones above all - all times favourite Dep Com Pereira!
Nostalgic reminder of my tenure as a 53rd NDA cadet

Beautiful nostalgia
RESPECT. Thank you. Thank you very much. Touched me to the core❤🙏
Thanks, Sunil for putting this together. Those were wonderful days, never to be forgotten.
It's very nostalgic to see the NDA in the form it was during my training, I visited NDA recently and it has transformed a lot but seeing the life of a cadet from Bombay stadium I can say that it's still the same, muster, ODTs, Academic classes, games, study periods, orders Fallin, dinner nights and lights out. Main changes noticeable are in 1. PT fields 2. Cadets mess 3. New Battalion has come up 4. Lots of blocks/buildings near hut of remembrance and No 2 swimming pool 5. Gole market 6. No Singarh fort trek/punishment 7. No liberties after covid.
Goosebumped!!
Hearing the auld Lang syne and seeing the cadets activities in NDA took me73yrs back to my NDA days of 10th course.Very nostalgic .

Too Good a video, takes me back to my memory lane, which shall never get faded. Thanks for making me relive few golden moments through this one. Only a exNDA will know the true emotional connection with each clip of the video. Lots of buried stories have got new life to retell.
