Sorry to see you have trouble with the car. It seems your DME is trying to compensate by adding more fuel. Or the DME is doing the right thing in which case it could be faulty injectors. Since it’s on both banks, is it likely that injectors would be faulty on both banks… probably not. But it could still be worth checking. Or maybe injectors clocked up by carbon deposits so that they don’t atomize fuel properly. I would imagine that would give you a rich running error. If not related to injectors, it must be DME reading a signal and trying to compensate by trimming the fuel. Mass airflow sensor would be a likely place to look, even though you have changed it. As mentioned if the O2 sensors give false readings the DME would try to compensate. Or it could be that the O2 sensors are reading rich but the car is actually running fine. You mentioned that the car runs ok after Home Depot visit, could it be that it is actually running ok with correct air / fuel mixture but the fault code is coming from a faulty sensor. Apologies if this isn’t a complete “this is the problem” post, just applying some logic to the problem and giving you ideas. Good luck finding the root cause. Oh and btw, thanks for some good Porsche content, keep it up 👍

@@jrgenfalkbll4188 I appreciate all the feedback. I am leaning towards oxygen sensors because that’s the only other thing in the system that I did touch and twist cables to get on and off. Hi Alberto! The oil change is very easy and very cheap on ours 997.2👍, so I do it every year (3 times already) and I let it drain the time to change the filters (oil, cabine and every 2 years air) that means 20 to 30 minutes. I appreciate the honesty at the end where you said if an owner wants (paraphrasing) best comfort (e.g. me) stay with OEM mounts. Good visual on how the transmission mount works.

What indicated it is broken? I have Cantrell 85 durometer in a 911 turbo. It transformed the feeling of the car from loose to ultra firm all around

Previous to replacing the flex disc (Guibo) I had clunky hard shifts sometimes. I then installed Function First inserts and replaced flex disc but I realized I did not perform a proper inspection of the mount so I wanted to do that in this video. It shifts and drives great now.

Wonderful Porsche. I don't know if it's manual or automatic but, while you're carrying out this millimetric manoeuvre, I presume that you didn't do it wearing flip-flops, but barefoot: in this way you don't risk in any way your feet slipping on the pedals, as can happen with flip flops. This might be a trivial comment, but it happened to me.

Hi Alberto, I have also this variations on mine (witch is 88800 mls). 😡 I was thinking about something from the sparks 🤯 but I am gonna check my throttle body too! Thanks. For the play maybe you can check the two smalls screws on the middle of the flap??? We never know?! I am interested if it is solved after the change the full throttle body!🤞

I changed my spark plugs recently, and I do not think that is the issue.

Excellent news! I don’t know what kind of Loctite that the manual calls for, if any, but the blue type is easier to break free than the red type.

How hot were brakes when you tried it? I would soak threads with Liquid Wrench for 24 hours then heat up caliper with fire from torch and if still not budging then liquid nitrogen on bolt. I think both some corrosion exacerbated by heat and the brake dust got on the threads adding to the resistance. Clean out threads with brake cleaner spray then oil penetrant soak, then hammer time on your wrench but that triple square will want to wear out so careful there too.
