Interesting video. I've got quite a few Parkside 20v tools, and have not been disappointed with any of them. Particularly, when you consider the price. So, when the 12v, Bosch like tools appeared, I bought a few, and was equally pleased. Alas, the 12v circular saw, well, it's terrible. It vibrates like crazy - even on 12mm softwood - could be down to the blade, but the super slow, 1400rpm speed probably makes it more suited to cutting plastic or thin metal than timber. The tool itself seems fairly well put together, is super compact, and costs £25, body only. I bought it with laminate flooring jobs in mind, and have yet to give that a go, but first impressions are not good. Once I try it on plastic and laminate, I'll post an update.

Evening mate, I was wondering, why bother with the 12v system ? Doesnt it lack substantial power compared to the 20v version ? I have a load of Parkside 20v corded tools, including the smaller circular saw, SDS Drill and Jigsaw, which I love. But I'll be looking to grab a few of the cordless ones, come this Sunday as that's when my Lidl are due a big Parkside drop ! Excited for the dual charger and not having to pay an arm and a leg from Ebay.

I have this same strimmer, it's great for edging the lawn and clearing the paths of weeds. Not a waste of money, you'll be shocked how often you'll use it. I find you have to let it slow right down every now and then to let out the strimmer line with a click sound. Mine didn't come with the strimmer cam though.

looks good for the money. I'm banned from buying anymore tools from Lidl says home boss 🤣

would love to know what all the dimensions of the wood etc are for building it from scratch? would be good to include plans?

Out of interest, what was the production date on your saw?

I wasn't aware of these but it looks handy for small jobs, cutting sheet etc. or maybe if you're at the DIY store and the sheet or batten you just bought is too big for the car. It's difficult to tell but maybe the cut looks a bit rough?

it turns out that it works. I have one for nearly one year and i keep it in my main tool box as it can candle most of drill and screw work in a light format. For big work, of course there is a bigger 18V drill and impact. Aside with the work light i consider the only usable 12V tool, The rest are just not worth the money as they are severely underpowered..

Why isn't the saw set up correctly when unboxed most people wouldn't have a clue

was looking at this mitre saw and mac Allister mitre saw, this seems easier to setup and has a lazer which is a plus, good review. was looking at revolution mitre saw too . jcb mitre saw abit cheaper price wise

Whrere did you buy the adapter from?

I have a Skil 20V battery that would not charge after depleting it using my new Skil leaf blower. It would not jump either. I found a T10 torx driver and removed the cover. I noticed that alone caused the battery indicator LEDS to show 2 bars (none before). I placed the battery w/o cover in the charger and it's now charging. I see in the inside cover that there is what looks like globs of grease. Maybe that grease trapped the gasses from escaping? Anyway, that alone seems to have fixed my problem. I hope that helps others.

I have exactly the same issue. 6ah battery was run down and won't charge or take a jump start.. I will give this a try.. Top man and great video. No annoying music either 😂

Don't know what the previous comment was on about, but I've used wooden hives with metal roofs for over 25 years and never had problems, but there's no needs for vents in the roof if you have a mesh floor.

Having seen the Lathe advertised before now, It's interesting to see what's in the box and how it faired in use.. It's capable, but limited on size and just two tools, Gouge, Skew and faceplate, it is as you've said suits your starting out.. Did wonder, was hoping for the speed on a large piece, Oak at that, that it was hold securely given the drive/tailstock centers hold. That's a nice thingumabob - wood mallet. If I can advise on your continuing and this I'd done myself first off is find where to get a lesson or so locally if possible find a Club or Shed would be best. Lookup AWGB - Association of Woodturners of Great Britain as will list Clubs or training near to you. Wish you the best and will see how you go. Cheers Davey.

hello i did tis too on my heater bud i used 1yellow and one black wire i use the other wires for other 12v tools its really strong these power supply and wires stay cold even very nice put a video like this here really help's people
