I just skipped the headache and put in a 74 weld billet rack preemptively. I never had a problem with the 2.0 rack but with 40's it was just a matter of time. Now I don't think about it. Now I get to worry about the Dana 44's

Looks really interesting and useful for when hitting the dirt trails!

It was installed 2 months to the weekend, 3500 or so miles and one major wheeling trip at Windrock with you back in April on the hoss 3.0 rack. I've been running the billet rack for a little over a week now and have been super happy with it, finally have some confidence in the steering after the wheeling trip on the 4th. Locked the front up multiple times in the rocks and pushed the steering hard and it felt great the entire time. Thanks again!

Loving that lower link and coilover mount you did, unfortunately it’s making me rethink my current plans 😅 Have you tested the bump steer on the front suspension yet? I know with my rig I initially had horrible bump steer through the travel. It came factory with bump steer problems to begin with and it’s magnified with long travel. I don’t know on yours because you have changed multiple geometry points. I went about it a bit differently so your mileage may vary. I needed to raise my outer tie rod center of pivot about 1” from factory mount. I have drilled out the tie rod mount to accept a 5/8 aircraft bolt and am going to weld in a support bracket to make it double shear for strength. I’ll be running a 7/8 rod end with high misaligns and a custom rod that will connect to an 18mm icon inner tie rod. Keep it up, I love seeing others do actual fab work on these broncos!

you should raise the trackbar mount on the axle on the rear instead of lowering it on the frame. Lowering it on the frame makes your roll center terrible. But its looks great so far!

Think you mean current Bronco as the Bronco II was a smaller SUV in the 1990’s that had a propensity to roll over if you turned too fast
