3:35, the rare fur cue. Awesome cue for 1972.
I'd like to see George Gray read the prize copy with this music now. The plugs go by so fast nowadays.
It sounds like a couple of those cues are the type of music cues when they would walk off a contestant when they lose, but the price is right was not that type of show that would have those type of cues so I’m wondering if maybe they just didn’t know what they were gonna do with the show yet and they just made all kinds of music for whatever possible scenario.
Long Live Yolanda!
“and creammettes spaghetti…”
18:00
20:20
38:46 I can't tell whether this variation was frequently used as a cue for contestants not appearing on stage from late 1970s to mid 2000s or 40:37 this variation.
The end of the Family Feud theme is still being used on the Price Is Right Is still being used today as the into to Grand Game
And I love the drum version of the Feud theme better
7:55 They use that a lot on Temptation when the first prize is offered to the contestant.
Yes,and they also used it on the 1986 primetime specials
15:02, 18:12, 23:36 Say it, Johnny Olson! A NEW CAR!!!
This (technically 1975) musical set is truly historic, as we got a lot of gems from this, mainly for TPIR, Feud AND my favorites, the '75 Match Game thinking ques........
8:27 Gotta love the single loud drumbeat in this cue.
That funky jam at 9:52 is the shit!
Oh my, some of this Melody Reel is also used on Rafferty Card Sharks too!
Holy shit, amazing, where did you find all this TPiR music???
23:35 - if TPIR and Woodstock joined forces.
Sound is excellent hurray for the show
28:57 that guitarist ROCKED
Must be the good ol motorcycle cue?
@@kensingletary5694 Amen, brother Herbert! 🤣
17:13 Absolutely tearing it up on that guitar 32:41 This series of cues? So good.
Just gonna timestamp some personal favorites right quick... 0:00 13:30 30:44 38:41
Nothing says the 1970's like THESE TPIR music cues do!!! Thanks for posting them, PS!! :) :)
You forgot to add the cue that's heard in TEN CHANCES, I can't think of the name of it.
That one is titled Sam.
@@Elsewhen404 thanks
There's one more cue, you forgot, it's part of the 1974 cue, it's a variation of the Furniture cue, in the consolation package, you'll find it here, at 14:44
It's not a complete compilation - I only included my favorite cues.
Thank you
LUV the Moog !!! Brings back my childhood memories. Staying home, being “sick” from school (actually faking it). Watching TPIR in the morning.
THE MUSIC ON TODAY'S SHOW IS AWFUL AS IS DREW CAREY
Whomever the BASS player is on this package is straight up fire. Man, that guy controls all these tracks. Love it!!
Did you take these from tmpmm?
Definitely getting furniture when you hear furniture at the 7:56 mark with "Splendido."
I seem to think at least one of these jams could have charted top 40 and made Casey Kasem's radio show.
"I gotta go from these uptempo goddamn Price is Right numbers into somebody dying"
Feels like Steely Dan a little bit, though they broke up a couple years earlier. Though Fagen's Nightfly album sounded a bit like SD
Exquisite
9:10 TPIR 1972 Xylophone Variant
6:48....................THAT'S what I came here for!!!!!! Can anyone tell me the name of that cue?!! 7:40, too!!!!!!
At 6:48, This is Showcase #1.
7:40 - Showcase #2.
I’ve been looking for the precise ticket cue version that is at 38:47. Thank you! That’s my jam 😎
Love the one from 0:56-1:1:36!
Think that one has been replayed from 1972-2010s...........the classic
The price is wrong Bob.
That's not quite what Happy Gilmore told him. 😂
😁 Promo-SM
Childhood memories
I think a lot of these were done with the MiniKorg 700.
This rhythm section track reel is straight fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Was hoping you would follow leather jacket guy at 1:40😂
Wow! were did you find these tracks along with the titles on top of that!
We don’t talk about the source.
0:01 9:03
The jam session for 3:10 and after is fire!!
The first one is called a rhythm track - keyboards, bass, percussion, and a little bit of guitar. It’s a mix that takes out all the lead melody instruments (and vocals if there are any).
27:38 I heard this cue on a very early Dennis James episode. It's my favorite of the original 1972 music.
Case in point, from Show #006N (which, ironically, was produced _the same day_ Bob debuted his long run): Johnny O: It's a range! From O'Keefe and Merritt, this Contempo Space Range-featuring two giant 25-inch wide continuous cleaning ovens with O'Keefe and Merritt's exclusive "Sparkle Clean" action process, eliminating oven cleaning drudgery. OK, Dennis...
I am in love with these music cues. Makes me love the Original Theme song even more. I wish they never updated it cause it still works today. Classic through & through
21:44 - I didn't know the Tennis Equipment Cue was an original music cue from 1972.
35:24 is my favorite
track name : "Original One Bid v2"
3:00 4:23 7:41 12:50 The grooves are just so deep. Who gave Edd Kalehoff the right to make those grooves so deep?! The absolute AUDACITY!
12:50 Looks Like The Theme Song!
12:50 It's not the theme song, it's the Ticket Plug Cue.
7:57 one of my favorite 1972 music cues. It could be called "TPIR Lullaby".
