yeah it is the best fragrance i've smelled in my life too, but the damn thing only lasts 2-3 hours and it's super expensive.

@David Miranda In Germany on the site even is not this color, just the marlot color and also in black, but is sold out. Here the price is 750 euro, I think a bit higher then USA since they need to pay taxes. However this bag is crazy and I don't know by Coach is playing with heart of pure costumers which they crack the inter net in pieses in the hope they will grab one. If you hear something please, let me know since I will love to have such a beauty. However, I'm glad you had the chance to have your bag and I wish you to enjoy at fullest every second. Many really wealthy people I know care less about the social implications of buying fakes. Plus, they might look down on "hillbillies" who spend so much money on a ridiculously overpriced bag. Where is it made?

The 40's were not hand processed. They reserved that technique for the 48's. It is a premium crafted bag by Coach standards but no where near the craftsmanship of a Hermes. Great value for a Coach bag all things considered.

I usually buy designer bottled fragrances. Based on what you just reviewed, I might have to try this kind of fragrance format.

I just purchased the Empire 40 in black today. It was the last one in the San Francisco Coach store. I went in thinking that I would perhaps like to order the maple color and the maple color is absolutely absolutely beautiful. However, once I tried on the black I was sold. The quality is so great. It looks so classic and classy. I am just as excited about this bag as you appear to be about your navy one which is absolutely beautiful also. I just could not imagine not getting this bag after I saw it and then be in that position of trying to find one on the resale market which is a horribly expensive place to be. Thanks for the great review I saw your Diptyque candle in the background and your Le Labo fragrances. We like the same stuff. 😍
