I caught them about 2 weeks ago in Morristown, just as they were at New Line fixing to switch onto the S-line.
I just saw where it was renumbered as T35 and 136 renumbered as T34.

@@wncrailfan1515 Nice. I know this isn't likely to happen, but you never know, if NS decided to reopen the line to through freight traffic, they'd likely have to renumber the trains agan.

@@freedomfan4272 PTC was blowing the horn automatically and when it does that the ditch lights don’t flash
@@freedomfan4272 it’s a very common thing if the engineer just lets ptc do it, I see it quiet often

Well, that's a first time in a long time since I've seen coal cars on the S-line. More than likely going to storage.
Actually no not for storage they went to canton mill and came back a couple days later

@@Help_2024 I worked for NS down in Chattanooga for a while. Had to quit because it was too far to drive from the Knoxville area to go to work. I did my pre-employment stuff to come back and be in Knoxville this time and I'm just sitting and waiting the several months it usually takes to get a start date. My understanding at least from talking to Knoxville crews that came down to chatt was that the S line has been downgraded to class 2 track with a 25mph speed limit and that 136, and its westbound counterpart, are the only 2 trains that still run this line. Out of the 4 directions Knoxville crews go, the run to Asheville is the one I'm looking forward to seeing the most, mainly because of the scenery.

@@wncrailfan1515 I agree with that. When it ran at night, I could only chase it ti were the Ascot Apartments (or Buena Vista W4) is. Past that, there’s a huge chance of getting stuck in serious rush hour traffic, and not catch up to W44 until like Fletcher. The one thing I don’t like about the morning runs is because it makes P60 the only train at Asheville after school dismisses.
