Hi I am a Malaysian business woman and a also mommy who has been busy all my life that I have neglected time with my love ones. As I grow each day I start to realised that I have missing a lot and wanting to start doing something for the love ones especially to my son who has just live with me for 3 years by now. So by making his meals is one way out. I am a not good cook however with willingness and trial and error I managed to make some simple and healthy meals.
This has made me a better version of myself.
It is my goal that with this channel I can inspire you the busy parents especially the moms that we can do something for our love ones with cooking some simple meals for them. After all it's the thought and what comes from the heart that counts. Do add in an ingredient call LOVE. This makes all the difference in taste of meals we cooked.
I hope you will like my channel and do try out the dishes I am sharing.

Stir Fried Squid with Capsicum | Chinese Stir Fried Squid | Stir Fried Sotong
Hello Lovely People
Sharing with you today is a seafood dish, am using squid and capsicum. This dish is popularly known as Stir Fried Squid with Capsicum or Bell Pepper some of you may call it. It is also known to many as Chinese Stir Fried Squid if you see this in a menu of a chinese restaurant.
In our native language in Malaysia, we call squid as sotong. So you may also call this dish as Stir Fried Sotong. Whatever the name of the dish, it is a beautiful and delicious seafood dish.
Capsicum actually gives very good flavour to this Stir Fried Sotong. If let's say you are not a capsicum person then you may omit it.
As for the squid, I am using the thick skin type so it is super juicy, chewy and tasty. I simple love the texture of this type of squid.

I love fish heads. In Cape Town we get snoek (similar barracouta found in Australasia). We have it in soup, roasted and fried. I love the eyes and brain. Don't understand why people pull their noses up at heads.

@@dookiepuddle You have enlightened me. I lived in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood where the meat store had a real cow head displayed in the front window. I have not seen any retail fish markets even the Asian ones have salmon heads in NY. I’m just fortunate that the establishment that I buy fish from gives me salmon heads for free since I am a good customer. Btw you have enlightened me.
