Baldur's Gate 3 - Scelaritas Fel Introduces Himself

Scelaritas Fel's brings tidings with his first introduction! As far as I know, Scelaritas Fel only appears in the Dark Urge playthrough. He appears randomly (similar to Raphael) except he shows up at your camp. This is the first encounter with the little guy.
Baldur's Gate 3 - Withers intervenes after the Dark Urge defies Bhaal! (Act 3)

I was extremely shocked when I came across this on my third playthrough. After I decided to defy Bhaal and he killed me, the screen goes dark and I was expecting the credits to roll at that point... To my surprise, good old Withers appears and resurrects me. I decided to look up info on Withers and mostly just see complaints about bugs about him not appearing in camp, so decided to upload this ...
It would have been 1000% if Withers mentioned Wall of the faithless
I've just reached this scene and my goodness it's my second playthrough and I played resist urge, it is without a doubt the most badass and satisfying role play experience I've ever had in my life fighting Orin was something I've been looking forward to and my god it was executed perfectly, I'm literally crying right now because all the companions are proud of me, it's much more engaging and involved in the story to play dark urge Withers is so BADASS My character is a gloomstalker thief fighter so he was like a mirror to Orin too and I killed her in one turn just iwjaoahsushwb I love this game so much
Withers is Jergal
You can learn that Withers contains an aspect of the Devine quite early in the game, right after he shows up in camp if you roll well enough, but he’s very cagey about it and doesn’t want to say outright Here he basically just steps in and asserts his full status as avatar of Jergal without really doing much covering up lol
This part was so amazing, but I didn't see it before in my playtrough. :( Wondering how many cutscenes I didn't see of this game!
Play as a dragonborn Dark Urge but not THE white dragonborn Durge? Heresy
I LOVED this scene. I did a good Dark Urge Honor Mode run and I made sure to do tons of research to make sure I wouldn't lose my run dying to Bhaal 🔥 This scene gave me CHILLS
*Bhaal kills you* Withers: “And I took that personally.”
This was beautiful
Bhaal: Die, yes? Withers: ....yeah, no.
Jergal is one hella chill of a God. And a troll too. At the end of everything, he is still the boss.
seeing this after watching any dragonage veilguard cutscene is like a wagyu steak after you've ate rotten 2 week old fast food burgers all your life, you re-discovered what is food, and you cleanse your pallet after the most dreadful "rpg" there is.
Best part is that this isnt even just a ressurection; the Durge is /immortalised/ by Jergal as his Chosen.
Sheriff Gale caught me off-guard. Too funny
Was Bhaal a goblin in his past life bc he's so petty
butler got a promotion
This is giving Shadow the Hedgehog vibes
Geralt?
Well Withers now that Alfira/quill isn’t in danger of me anymore mind bringing them back? I felt real bad about killing the bard.
😂 This is hard core example of Red Dead Redemption. Too bad didn't name the character as Arthur but Red Dragon as Welsh makes up for that.
You became basically the Chosen of Jergal. He corrected his mistake with the Dead Three by making you his only Chosen one. Thats why it makes sense that the Dark Urge is the protagonist of the Story. Withers/Jergal is looking for a replacement alongside trying to defeat the Dead Three.
Wait, the dead three are back? I haven't played BGIII but the game intrigues me, particularly if it follows canon D&D. How did Bhaal, Bane and Myrkul return?
@@LPeck1985 I dont wanna spoil to much but basically they returned bc of their new chosen ones. Those have a Netherbrain under their control but play the game I dont wanna spoil it to you :D
Dead Three: "Ao are you seeing this? That's can't be legal!" Ao: *Looks at Withers* "Meh, I'll allow it."
At this point if you live on the sword coast you are either gonna get killed by a Baal spawn or you’re gonna get saved by one.
In my head canon, this is the "true" ending, where the Dark Urge Defies Bhaal and releases Orpheus
Jergal quickly rose to be one of my favourite deities in fiction throughout the game. I adore his grandpa mannerisms and nonchalant but indirect care he clearly has for us past act 2 when he has warmwd up to us fully.
5:36 Considering WHO he is, did Jergal just declare you his chosen and not only brought you back to life, but also literally saved your soul from the wall of the Faithless by declaring himself your patron?
yes, that is quite literally what he did, and we love him for it
Did this first playthrough :D
Was that a ressurection, true ressurection or something entirely different?
Eu não tive essa cena kkkkk
Bro can revive me? Why do I get game over when minthara kills me in the gob camp
is it a way to avoid the bad endings of the dark urge ? I never played this route, but I've heard that you can only end badly with this character
Wow more proof withers is jorgel God of death
Game of the Year 2023 be damned. With these patches adding storylines and mods, it'll be the game of the decade.
Damn. It seems Dark Urge is the real protagonist in BG3.
This scene felt kinda weird if your romance is there as well. Watches your character get merked by Bhaal and just stands there like "well, shit. Pub time everyone!"
Bhaal: "Blood for the Blood God and skulls..." Withers: "Oh, fuck off. Skulls for MY throne."
"Your name has been stricken from the Archives." -Jargal
This scene gave me chills. The writing goes so hard in this game
Withers is such a fun character.
withers strolls on in there. calls the dead three a bunch of losers. effectively says "fuck your rules" and then leaves, refusing to elaborate. Withers truly is *HIM*
"oh look, durge is on my list of souls... But not good urge." -withers, probably.
Withers to Ao: Your Honour, My papers clearly says "dark urge" not "Good Durge"
Love how withers explains when you actually ask him this time. Kills The Dark Urge was easy for Bhaal, but The Good Urge is something Bhaal could not touch.
Withers/jergal is playin around when he says he still has a little bit of power. He can actually just take back all his power whenever he wants. The dead 3 are basically just his "apostles" since he can't truly give away his power.
Yeah, for that he would have to actually be killed by them.
Please, for the love of Bhaal! Add some kind of spoiler protection to this video. This ruined my good Urge run.
Don't.... Click the obvious spoiler video then... Are you stupid?
Damn Geralt, we killed everyone in one game, why we gotta do it again, let me sleep
I've seen the lore and theories about Withers. Scribe of Durgle and all that. But I propose a new theory. Is Withers the Undying Champion of Kelemvore?
Does the cutscene still trigger if you die in the Orin duel? I'm unsure if my game just bugged out or not
I did not expect Cowboy Gale to show up like that lmao.
From Bhaal’s fallen chosen to Jergal’s champion
So, he's clearly Jergal, right? I'm not the only one who thinks this? They've heavily implied he's fucking Jergal.
