I can agree somewhat. I was excited for this one, but Fairy Wonderland is still by far my favorite from Fabiana Attanasio. I love it still, and not sad I got it pre-order though! Plenty in here I'm excited to color.

Aw thank you!! I think I obsess over that lol! I love that glossy finish (prolly because of my bg as digital artist), which is prolly why I gravitate towards non-pencil media to work with at least as a base! I might have to do a color-along or something with the techniques I used for the autumn fox page though because even I was stunned at the results I got from the watercolor pencils. I used a lot of pencil-on-wet to get those solid, bright colors that I love!

I do have a set of US Supply gel sticks (they're a cheaper brand but work similarly) though I've found this brand doesn't work too great with the palette +blending brush technique. I did get some soft oil pastels recently, I've just been a tad scared to try them out lol! I just have to get over the fear of screwing up and try them out! I have a couple of less precious books I'm thinking of using to learn how to use them first =D

Oh they do bleed! At least those done with alcohol markers do. The books I use those on are single sided so the other side of the page is blank. I use a blotter paper between it and the bottom page to protect the page after. As for the one that only has ghosting, that's To the Ends of the Earth and Back Again by Good Wives and Warriors. That book has thick, smooth cardstock, so it's thick enough that alcohol markers don't fully bleed through unless you're layering them a lot for gradients and such. It still bleeds, but the opposite page is blank so it's fine! And it's thick enough I haven't felt the need for blotter paper on that one. Specially since the opposite page below it is the 'back' of the next page, so less chances of bleed through 2 pages to ruin anything.

Thank you so much 😀 Yeah, Capcut added an AI that supposedly deletes pauses and 'extra words' like ums and ah's, supposedly to make the video smoother with less pauses. It worked the first video I used it on so I used on this one too, and didn't check how it'd worked till after I'd edited other things, and went to play back and realized how choppy it was!! Not using that again lol, I think we all prefer the natural pauses to the awkward cuts...

I do recall having to wait for them to get more stock, and I noticed they only have 2 copies at the moment! Prolly has to do with the fact these are from 2017.

I can take my time, I just needed a break from the pressure. Hopefully I get March pages compilation done soon, I haven't even recorded it yet whoops.

Yeah that one's pretty tempting! I picked up Spooky by Sara Szezwyk (prolly got that wrong lol) and it too is a bit of a story, so I'm planning to not use alcohol markers (as much as I want to lol) and color it in so it's a readable book to gift once I'm done! Maybe once that one is done and I've gotten through Worlds of Wonder (the current Basford book I wanna finish) I may pick up Ivy and the Inky Butterfly!

@@MyStarseedColoring Oh yea, I forgot that Spooky has a story in it too! That's a really cute book for a gift! I love Ivy and the Inky Butterfly but it's going to take me ages to finish! It's probably about twice as thick as the other Johanna Basford books! Do you have a favorite coloring book artist?

@@silvers_inkNot sure if I could pick one to be honest!! I love different styles and depending on my mood is what I go for. I do love the Joseph Catimbang and Fabiana Attanasio books I have, and I love Rita Berman's art style (though I don't particularly enjoy the paper in her books) I think those three are my top picks!
