It's a ciclone 6kw motor with a kelly controller on it We measured the current usage and found out its actually 12kw peak power output But the ciclone kit is heavily modified we have changed the freewheel to a ego kit freewheel the chain from the motor to the crank is a moped chain now and soon we will change the mounting plates to in house designt billet plates😁

Have you thought about installing a cooling system on the motor? Even a simple drip cooling makes a huge difference in the motor performance, it can take more power for longer periods of time.
Yes i have thought about it but it's quiet a hassle to use it and I can just chill a little bit on my riding style Uphill and since then I never had any problems anymore
I just wish that the X12 controller can control the motor speed instead of power. the throttle always feel like an On/Off switch when using low gears.
Really i actually don't have any problems with that it is definitely a bit more aggressive than the Asi bac but it's very controllable and even power wheelies are possible
@illestbikesco It mostly happens when I want to cruise without full throttle. Using ASI BAC855 on my BBSHD the motor speed is way more controllable, and the throttle actually works as speed controlling.
Nice build. I have the DT Swiss 240 hub also (not hybrid) and replaced the Aluminum hub body with steel and increased the ratchet to 24t from 18t and the power is much smoother now which is very similar to the 240 hybrid stock hub you have. I’ve never had any issues with it and push up to 5kw with a High Voltage BBSHD motor. I have 10spd Sunrace cassette with Deore derailer and so far haven’t destroyed either. My bike is very similar with Fox 36 but I mounted a 20s4p 300a Molicel battery under my downtube. Would love to try and fit it in the frame someday but like you it gets expensive. I had the gen 1 Stealth motor that was nice but had it on the wrong type of bike in my eyes so I sold it. The gen 4 pro has got my interested again and would love to get one. Just like everyone I’m watching reviews to see how it holds up. Thanks for your update on the motor!
Thanks and yes i can only tell you i have had a lot of fun with the gen 4 but had also quite a few issues but I go really hard on the materials so it's a good product definitely so watch my other build video and maybe some of the riding videos and then you maybe can decide what's the right choice for you 💪

No I'm running on the limit on the pro so it would definitely be to weak for my kind of riding but if you just do some city riding it would be definitely enough

It turns out that the gen 4 motor burned out because oil was poured onto the gears? If it weren't for the oil, everything would have been fine? I want to buy a gen 4 and I wonder if the motor is reliable?
So actually it was greas but to much of it i mounted a greas fitting on to the planetary gear casing and greast it with a greas gun and i think there was to much pressure so then the greas came in to the electric part of the motor an shorted something in there and i use the motor also very much and all the time on the limit But i think for 99% of people it would be a very reliable diy e bike kit

this is a Unrestricted Bicycles, a chip is put inside the motor box
no it's a diy ebike with a 5kw cyc x1 pro kit on a normal downhill bike it never had a restricon so no chip is needet

it's around 60kmh with mid drive and i got a 72v battery with around 900wh in the backpack
