We walked around the Jordan Pond Path in Acadia National Park. It was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect hike. It was a 3.3 mile walk around the pond, it is mostly flat but a few strenuous spots over rocks and a long section of boardwalk. We were unable to visit the Jordan Pond House because the wait was too long and closed pretty early. Overall, one of my favorite hikes in Acadia National Park!

Had an amazing day in Acadia National Park. Woke up at 3:30 am to drive to Cadillac Mountain to see the sunrise then went to Thunder Hole and finished the morning at Bass Harbor Light Station.

We visited the quiet side of Desert Island and saw the Bass Harbor Head Light Station. We went in the morning and almost no one was there. Most people visit at sunset but it was just as gorgeous in the morning.

We visited Thunder Hole after watching the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, unfortunately it wasn’t the two hours before high tide so we weren’t able to hear the thunder but we could definitely imagine it!

We woke up at 3:30 am to start the drive towards Cadillac Mountain to see the sunrise. We would highly recommend and definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

Hiked up the Beehive in Acadia National Park. We took the 4 kids but we came up the back and avoided the iron rung ladders. Soaked in Sand Beach after the hike. An Acadia must do!

Walked the 2 mile Bar Harbor Trail. It was amazing! The trail is only available to walk across the land bridge during low tide and you need to make it back in time so you don’t get stranded. A very cool experience and a great view of Bar Harbor at the summit !

We spent a rainy Sunday afternoon walking The Freedom Trail in downtown Boston, MA. Unfortunately, we were able to walk all the way to Bunker Hill but were able to see the monument. We also walked by the Cheers Bar but was way too long of a wait.

A beautiful fog filled Maid of the Mist boat ride. The boat ride is sped up and cut out most parts of just having to wipe off the camera from being wet.

Stopped in Niagara Falls for the day and took the kids on the Maid of the Mist for the first time and they loved it!
