These are just AVI movie files from point-n-shoot digital still cameras, that I've had on me while in the water, while working as a biologist on the Great Barrier Reef on tourism boats.
Some are for my family. Some are for friends. Some are for visitors. Some are just for fun. Some are there to illustrate a point or opinion. Some are to draw attention to problems.
My channel is completely open so if you have any problems, comments or questions just ask. Its still a free world... at the moment.
Note: Opinions expressed or implied in these videos are not necessarily my own and should NOT be attributed to the company from which the material was taken !

Best way to see Manta Rays
Without bubbles, you can glide into a cleaning station like a big ugly fish and the mantas just don't care.

Coral Spawn 2014

Low resolution version of my coral spawning videos from 2014. Stupid iMovie refuses to export as HD. UA-cam also says it has audio/video sync issues.
Blue Spot Stingray Sex - Turtle Bay post-Yasi
Переглядів 36 тис.11 років тому
Well after a quick search on UA-cam, I have discovered this is far from a world first ! Just goes to show how technology has created legions of underwater photographers such that even rare observations are being snapped by easy to use digital cameras. Remember the days when you had to understand F-stops and Shutter Speeds and strobe sync timing and then only 36 frames which you couldn't learn a...

The most common of the Flounder species, the Peacock Flounder relies on its highly modified body shape and pattern to conceal itself in the sediment. If that fails, they can move at a good pace to a new location. Video taken on snorkel by Fluffy.

Eagle Rays, Sharks, Fish & Coral Secret Spot.AVI

Just one of those rare places where it all goes off together. Probably one of the top snorkelling spots in the entire Great Barrier Reef. There was also several turtles and lots more bigger fish just out of shot which when combined with Eagle Rays, Whaler Sharks and fantastic coral covered in schools of small fish make this one of the best snorkeling in the world. Video taken on snorkel by Chri...

You smelled my little cookie with that, huh?
Nice but the Moby dick was not a real whale it went extinct years ago but now we have whales
Love your interesting short vids. You were doing shorts before they were in fashion 🙂
Wow! How does he do that?
Great footage!
Ahab will sht
The deep hole there is safe, it's the rapids above the hole and the ones down are were the drownings happen
Makes my heart race just watching knowing how many have died. Be careful ! If it's raining up stream you'd never know. Thanks for the footage though !
Good words, but it is 13 y.o. video I think he is safe now. But for other people is good warning
Wow this is crazy! I’m making a doco type short vid about the boulders! Do you mind if I add a little clips from here linking you in the bio and putting your channel on the screen? Unreal footage!
Yeah sure! Go nuts mate.
You could say death has its own beauty.
💕
super cool 😂
I thought it was special to see a solid white squirrel at the park few years ago. I rather see this lol. Amazing! Very lucky to see that up close 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Wonderful..free in the ocean..❤
He's just saying hello! Beautiful whale! ❤
Poor little Wobbegong!
Moby dick 😂
I am NOT sure but I wonder if He took ALL of this Video Footage in the DRY season when the water LEVEL in the Stream is MUCH LOWER.
Wise decision to go when the water is lower. Probably the only semi-safe time to do it. And get clear footage.
Nahhh...its fine to swim in water like this
I am NOT sure but I wonder if He took ALL of this Video Footage in the DRY season when the water LEVEL in the Stream is MUCH LOWER.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW GREAT Camera Footage to give people a perspective of what it would be like for People who got sucked down there to the bottom by the current.
a lot of death hype over nothing
There are a lot of family members who would dispute your claim.
dont go in if turbulent, if its been raining, common sense
Grouper are under appreciated as predators and a danger to spearfishermen.
Felt your anxiety with those initial quick breaths. Maybe these videos will save some lives. Reminds me of the conditions at the Bolton Strid.
Congratulations on not dying!
Are you talking about the Fishies
Grouper: "who do i need to fuck to be left eating my shark in peace?"
The grouper has his minions with him .
Mobydicks offspring??
You are much to close!
DID SOMEBODY HAIL A WHALE?😂
I thought it was a White Sperm Whale, turns out it could be a humpback or a blue whale. Huge!
It's a humpback, the only recorded albino one is history
OMG you almost got mobydicked by a white whale!
Where is this?
Out of Port Douglas.

@@Anonymousperson__ Oh. How unfortunate!
Bro I'm still standing alright.
RIP
It isn’t migaloo ok
Magnificent animal!
Beautiful creature!... Moby Dick!
I love this fish... Grouper is a exquisite meal (Lemon-Salt -oil-and grilled).
What an amazing experience, Wow! Absolutely breathtaking. You guys were so lucky. Pictures & videos to brag about it forever. ❤️🐋🌊🙌🏽❤️
I had two spit water out on me when I was on a cruise, that was amazing to see!! Priceless to see and very rare moment with the classical creature of the sea!!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽💓💗💝💜🐋🐋🐳🐳!!!!!!!!
Amazing video. Beautiful whale. Just one of God's magnificent creatures that he gave us to enjoy.
You haven't seen a big Grouper
Hey Mate, I think you could have a million views on this video if you just changed the name of it. Your the only one I've found with kahunas big enuff to go UNDER in the cauldron. There's thousands titled similiar to this one... maybe call it "What's UNDER the water in Devils Pool...?" Make sure you put a warning on it to discourage others from doing what you did though. It isn't worth dying for! But thanks for sharing this. I'd love to come visit QLD someday... so beautiful. Man, that emerald water is so clear 🏞
This is a feeling of encountering a Shiny Pokémon. Too bad that there are no Ultra Balls & Shiny Rasberries to catch Migaloo. 😔
MY JWALE! #STUNTS. Designated WHALE.
I wonder if the yellow ones are a little tangy like 🍋?
