Hi this is my first animatic (excluding the bad one I did like two years ago). Did death note because got into it recently why not. Also not finishing this, i dislike my art style and it changed about ten times during making so yeah. I don't own this song, it's from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. It's pretty good y'all should check it out.

Micheal is so silly and funny, if i'm honest, i don't care if you call me obsessionate or wathever but I'm about to start watching The Magnus Archives because i see a animatic of him being a antagonist of between the archivest. I was only caught by his Zardonic character and the way they describe him.

Worm wife can get it we love Jane she’s living life to the fullest (not anymore tho) Side note, the fire extinguisher and Michaels hand holding the mug were so aesthetic?? J’adore Every glimpse of Michael had me going :OOO THATS MY BOY HES HEREEEE The spirally weirdo is my absolute fav 11/10 would have tea with the Distortion Jon in the hospital bed completely monochrome while the rest of the animatic is in color. MWAH man’s is at a low point and it comes across so dreary and hopeless 🤌

@@count_vampyre definitely! I think you just nailed the line between identifiably human and super freaky unnerving so well! The frame at 00:48 is so fun, it's very like fourth wall break-esque and caught me off guard with how direct it was!
@@topsprout9275 it scared me while drawing it thats how i knew it was good. Honestly the trick to making things spooky is expressions, the further you push them usually people will get uncomfy since normal folks aren't as expressive. That and wide eyes

@@count_vampyre There are actually some small, bougie coffee shops out there that use glass mugs! I can't imagine The Distortion would have any trouble amassing the funds for a nice coffee
