As one of Vermont’s top ranked junior mountain bike racers, Trailbuilder, and skier. I created this channel to document my journey trough the sport but mainly to share my passion for gnarly lines. I mainly make pov videos, but also do build and ride content, vlogs, and some other random stuff when I feel the urge. Thank you for watching.

Why does this seem to pop up on my feed every day? Cool the first time… 5th time less so
Yea I’m sorry about these, I have one more tomorrow and that’s the last one. The reason I was spamming your feed was because I’m currently suffering from a brain injury that’s keeping me off the bike for a while, I wanted to keep posting but I agree that I did finally exhaust my pre injury content. Wish you well man.
@ sincerely hope you recover well.
@ thanks 🙏 👊

@thebackyardsender 😂💀
Dude that’s sick I can tell that the GoPro makes it look smaller
I does but it’s still a really cool shot
Wow nice jumps im still trying to do small jump lins lol
You’ll get there sooner or later. At the beginning of the year all I could do was small jumps
Guess you're a pro now.
Ha ha I wish
Niceeeeeeeee
It’s taken me 2 years to build up MTB skill, strength and endurance, but yesterday I finally broke through and had an awesome ride. Persistence finally paid off. It’s never too late to turn your body around physically, it just might take longer than expected, but the results are absolutely well worth the work. Happy Trails my friends.
Congratulations 🎉
U should’ve pumped em if u were trying to go faster, but style is still awesome. Keep shredding 🤘
Yea I know, in retrospect I should’ve. Glad you’re enjoying the channel
Ya, but the style was still sick. The channel is awesome.
Super loose🤙

☝🏻
Are they pro's only due to the technicality or the pro's just don't want the average Joe in their way?
Probably both
Very Average. But looks like you survived!
not trying to take anything away from you but thats an expert section, not a pro line, you are riding at the expert level.
Yes it definitely felt like that. The camera makes it look easier too tho
@thebackyardsender there are some gnarly spots on that trail, no doubt about it, you worked hard and paid your dues to become an expert and you should be proud, it takes a lot of busted bike parts and a lot of crashes to get this good. its just that there's an entire world of difference between experts like you and i and the pros. keep it up.
Looks so beautiful but depressing
That’s the vibe I was trying to create
Where at?
The driving range
Yesssssss
Gavinnn 😂
Nice! Im subbing right now, hope yourbinjury gets better! Also while this whole track may not be pro, most aspects were so congrats and have a great day
🙏 Thanks for subscribing, I’m feeling better every day!
@thebackyardsender np bro
30-35 years ago when I was young enough to heal from all the broken bones I’d probably have been willing to try working up to something like that. We did some crazy stuff on bikes growing up but nothing I’d imagine comes close to this?
Probably not but the bikes 30 years ago are nothing compared to the ones we have now, however it would be cool to get too experience that era
Probably the closest thing we did to this was we had a nice size hill we would ride down then jump our bikes off of different level bumps at the bottom. The worst spot had a huge jagger bush on the back side so if you didn’t have enough speed you wouldn’t clear it. Was always kind of funny to watch kids come flying down the hill get scared and try to bail but their momentum would carry them right into the middle of it. Then come down and hit some of them with someone riding on the handlebars. Then they came out with the pegs for the rear axles and they would ride there. During winter we would use a car hood to ride down it. Get about 7-8 of us on it. Then someone came up with the bright idea of flipping the hood over and hitting it with a tractor inner tube with about 7-8 of us on it. Good memories. Or the fights we would have to get on the car inner tube being drug by a moped. The time my best friend was caught by his dad dragging us on the car hood with his four wheeler.
That's not a pro line
It’s what the sign said
K I considered myself average, so either you're above average or I'm below. I love riding, but I don't think I'll ever touch trails like that. And you looked pretty solid!
Thanks, I think I’m above average at this point, but I need to say that the first time I saw the trail I thought I’d never ride it either, the same afternoon I filmed this
Way better than average! Heal up man
Thank you 🙏
@thebackyardsender I rode BMX my entire life up until an accident a few years back. Tibial plateau fracture - I decided to stop riding, but recently picked up a mountain bike just for fun. Your video then showed up randomly, and now I’m looking into dirt jumpers for next season. A Bounce back, ride harder!
There is nothing compared to the feeling of riding a mountain bike, I hope your able to get back into it
@ id be sailing box jumps and riding trails and street on bmx. But mountain biking looks like a whole new world I was missing out on.
@Just-Casey it really is, but trust you will be good at it bc it’s really similar to bmx
Great job!!!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏

Well done mate👍🏻
Thank you!! 🙏
Dude man - you're a champ! Nice ride!!
Thank you 🙏
of all action sports, I think the head mounted camera angle looks the best with mountain biking.
It’s really true, I copied this off of my friend and it’s perfect
Blowing up with this one dawg!!
Thank you!!! Glad you liked it
You’re above average rider, and this was below pro line.
Well put ☝🏻
doesent look fun to be honest

I saw a worker from Phat Tire Bike Shop being airlifted out of Bentonville, AR, after attempting a drop transition on the Ozone Trail. He wasn’t wearing a full-face helmet, and neither was I. That same day, I tried to gap some rollers and ended up hitting my face on the ground, leaving me with bleeding and bruising. I immediately went to the bike shop and bought a full-face helmet. I’ll never ride without one again. Edit: Guess I should add that, if that man from Phat Tire Bike Shop had been wearing a full face, he wouldn't have needed to be airlifted out of the area. Food for thought.
It’s interesting that wearing a full face is not normalized for cross country racing, it would have saved me too. I’m happy you recovered from your crash though
Great job my man! My scrotum was tight watching you do this from my couch. I agree with the other below - you are better than you think. Trus in yourself.
What you think about the helmet, why was it up? Was it FullFace? Probably not if its XC. Glad you came out of it all fairly OK. Maybe you could also say what exactly happened on that berm? How did you hit it so hard? All the best!
I have no recollection of the accident so these are all questions I have as well. The helmet was a half shell and I was wearing glasses. People did search the area afterwards and no one found the glasses, perhaps I tried to put them back on and that’s how it happened. The main possibility tho is that it could have been a deer or a squirrel I hit but I really don’t know.
I've broken both my collarbones on "easy" stuff. Embarrassingly easy stuff. Concussions are no joke. They take a long time for your brain to fully recover, so don't get discouraged. Glad your helmet did its job!
Thank you for your support it means a lot
