Father's Day Short Film- Come Back With Me
"Come Back With Me" is the story of a father who leaves behind a mysterious record player for his daughter with a note inside with the simple words "Come Back With Me". When the music is played, it transports her to an alternate place in time where her father is waiting for her. What happens next? Watch the film to find out!
Some time ago, Adam Young of Owl City spent a year making some of the coolest soundtrack music ever. At the end of the year, he issued a contest to create a short film using some of his tracks. At the time, I was struggling to manage my Cystic Fibrosis and couldn't get this film created in time. I decided to make the film more of a passion project- something I would go back to each time I learned new VFX techniques and test them out on part of this film. Now I'm happy to say I've reached a point where I'm excited to share the finished video with all of you.
Thank you to everyone who sacrificed their time to be a part of this-

NEW FATHER'S DAY FILM- ua-cam.com/video/0oasbCUSYuw/v-deo.html To celebrate Mother's Day, Jaycie and I set out to create a short film based on a children's book that impacted my life in a very personal way. By the amazing comments we've seen, we aren't alone either. The book "Love You Forever" is the story of a Mother's love for her son as he progresses through life, and we sought to make a mod...
Using my Nintendo Switch on a Teleprompter
Переглядів 1095 років тому
Back after a long hiatus, I'm throwing more filmmaking into the blogs! We decided to buy a teleprompter to help us with some of the videos we create for clients on a regular basis. Here I unbox it, throw it on a tripod and mess around a bit. Please pardon the horrible hair and chest therapy taking place at the same time. ;)

I've seen a lot of things over the years. Gameboys went from nerdy to mainstream, fidget spinners came and left... now a movie about my disease, Cystic Fibrosis? That's pretty cool! As a filmmaker who struggles with this disease, I've got some things to say. Mostly good things, I'm just grateful this is getting mainstream attention! Let's see what this trailer has in store! Jaycie comes on her first professional shoot with me at a wellness studio! What a weird first day for her. Together we try to pitch a video idea to the company, as well as eat a few snacks and share some tips on promoting your business without sounding like a salesperson, because that's lame. If you were awesome enough to read the description, leave us a like, subscribe and hit that bell icon t...

Thank you!
My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer today. This is her second time fighting it and it'll be a harder battle since she also has end stage Emphysema. This video hit right where I needed it to so I could cry out all the tears I held in today.
That's so heartbreaking, praying for you and your sweet mother
Love you forever ❤❤❤❤❤
To whoever put this here, Thank you so much! My Oma and Granddad gave me a copy of the book whene i was around six, and i still have an read it to this day, it is one of my favorite books. Thank you🥲🥲🫡💔... Granddad passed away whene i was forteen an Oma can't see anymore, but i remember whene she used to read that book to me, and later my dad read it to me as well, thank you for bringing back so many memories for so many people. Thank you.
You are welcome, what a touching story. Thanks for sharing
My baby is 7 this year. 😢😢 they grow up so quickly. 😢😢
Yes they do, time moves too fast
😢
Beautiful. Almost perfect. The age progression on mom vs. son was off.
Haha yes, it's my one regret
This book will forever make me weep, I’m showing this to my mom when I can and we’ll both be misty eyed
Normaly I never cry when watching short films but as a mamas girl this hits different🥺I'll love my mom forever❤❤❤❤
We'll love you forever too, Moms. Promise.
Amazingly perfect short film version of Robert Munch’s iconic book!
Thank you!
This is cry worthy. Before my mom went into a coma her last words to me were “ I’ll love you always and forever.”❤️. So beautiful!
Geez, that's so sad but so sweet
Life here on earth is for a moment...afterwards, eternity is forever..choose Jesus now and you can be in heaven with Him forever , together forever with your family in Christ 🙏
I never realized until this short film that the story is just as much about the son as it is about the mother. Of course his mother loved him, but he was also a loving son, and then a loving father. So wholesome.
Love you forever and ever . Amen
😢❤
In the Bhagavad-gītā the whole cosmic manifestation is accepted as the mother of the living entities, and Kṛṣṇa is the father. Kṛṣṇa The Supreme Personality of Godhead
Mothers day isn't always a great day for everyone. To those who struggle on this day you're seen. This is my first mothers day not wishing mine a happy mothers day. Not through her passing but my choice. It's still difficult but it's for the best. Sometimes we can wish a happy mothers day to those who have been like actual mothers to us. Doesn't make it any less difficult though. Stay strong ❤ day you are seen.
Oh my goodness... you had me bawling. Well done, and thankyou. ❤🫂❤💐
Beautiful 😢
My love to the mothers who lost their children to evil war monsters. I won’t be celebrating Mother’s Day in outing and instead kiss her hands. I kiss the hands and feet of all mothers who lost their children.
Lost my Mom suddenly in Aug 2019. Never forget the phone call. Will also never forget her smile and her laugh that would fill the room. Mom, you brought so much joy to so many, and taught me to do the same. Happy Mothers Day, and I will Love you Forever. Thank you for this.
I can't stop crying 😭. Beautiful. How about We celebrate mother's day, every day , not just once a year. 🧡💐
I haven't cried like this in a very long time
Thank you, so much, for making this film. Haven't cried so joyously in a while and just sent it to my mother, as well as my daughter, and we all cried together. A mother's love is beyond words, but this video sure comes close!
So moving. On this Mother’s Day 2024 this video made me remember my precious mother who no longer is with us. Thank you.
Did I just cry.......😂😂😂
❤
Do you mind if I share this inspirational video with our church members when we have worship service on Mother's Day?
Can I upload your video on tiktok with credit to you?
If your eyes don't get a little wet with this video, something is wrong. This was a beautiful video.
Wow...the love of a mom is forever
we know this was coming still hurt
I love you mum so much "RIP "❤😢😢😢😢
😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
This makes me cry everytime I watch.
Hello, would it be possible to use this film in a Mother’s Day service at our church in Georgia?
This is such a great video. Thank you
Aloha. We want to contact your company and we would like to give your company credit because we want to use this for mother's day on May 12.
It's a little weird that they age her so much but not the boy and I wish they sang the song
Nice work! Congratulations.
Thank you! Cheers!
I can't express how well done this was. Bravo, friend! Blessings to you and your family. Great job!
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)
I can hardly make it through this wonderful video with getting choked up. Whenever I read this book to my children and grandchildren they always get concerned because I have to stop often and collect my emotions. Thank you so much, both of you, for the sharing of your talents for the world to be touched. Beautiful, simply beautiful. ❤
So glad you liked it, the book has a special place in my heart too
Looks like it was really fun to make too!
