TA SPRING LIVES! We should play, this looks awesome.
you have no video.
Hey man, this video is busted. Can hear the audio but still frames for video.
Do you still play with it ? Any improvement ? I want to build one of those so I am interested on a update hehe . It is so damn cool brother
What voltage and capacitance ? I want to make it
What kind of switch is that ? Igbt brick or thyristor ?
Dog in background is having a good time heheh
просто отсутствие мозгов
are you still here?
hello?
T8
Correct. Did you know you can easily drive t8 at double their rated power with only minimal efficiency and lifespan loss? I've been running them on my aquarium like this for years.
What kind of fish are those?
Aperently I can't see my notification. These are Endler's Live-bearers, probably mixed with guppies.
Wow!!! What a stunning tank you have there! The plants are so green and healthy! Your platies are gorgeous! They are very colourful and cute! I see you are breeding them. Good luck. Nice video! I really loved it! Keep up the amazing work!!! I subscribed! I hope you do the same back! I have a channel about fishkeeping as well! Let’s grow together!!!😀
Man Ez took a proper hit.
Could you post some specks on the coil you used?
I love the ringing sound.
Kill the mains
Wow! Your aquarium is great!
I think the foil doesn't like the cooktop actually
I have a Phase 400 amp I purchased new in the late 70s. Since I have had to have it completely re caped. The biggest difference was in increasing the main caps for 5700uf to 16,800uf. This made a huge difference in bass output. I am powering a set of AMT3 Rock Monitor speakers.
First 10 seconds and that dog in the background is so funny. Idk why he's cracking me up
The magnet is aggressive.
i could use that to heat up my nail :D
Years ago, I bi-amped with 400's. It was impressive.
How you trigger a first spark gap? I have the same specs but I must triggered by myself
Now THATS a disk crash
Not necessary. This 400 is one of six fully operational PL amps I own: 200-2, 300-2, 400-1, 400-2, 400-2, 700-2 along with c4000t, c4000, 3500-2, 3300-2, 3000, 2000-2, 2000-2 preamps. My 700b went in for realignment in 2006. The store closed and I never saw my 700b again. These are fantastic amps used within their limits as with any other machine. Your meter ballistics caught my eye as age slows the meter's attack to sluggish heave and not the crisp attack your meters display. I enjoyed ur amp and ur music choice. N-Joy ur amp.
Accurate meter ballistics. Were they recalibrated?
Nope. Someone had it sitting in their garage for years before giving it to me. All I did was put in some warm white LEDs to replace the burned out incandescent bulbs. Also note that only the camera mic was clipping, crappy bass heavy EQ setting because I wanted to see if anything would break, and this song has very different right and left channels. I added a link to original song in description. If you desire, I would record this amp playing a file of your choice without the EQ mucking things up.
It's running free. And the tube isn't doing anything, I just left it there because it looked cool. It's not connected on either end.
Nice rep rate. Is this unit triggered by an initiating pulse or switch; or does it free-run, triggering when the first spark gap fires? 2nd question - what is the function of the fluorescent tube?
It's free running, just breaks down by itself. The fluorescent tube isn't doing anything, it's just laying on the wire.
@51llyx5kr1pt I found the problem, I've added a link to a picture showing the burned wire from the pole transformer.
FIRST!!! D:<
Good luck and be careful! It is NOT fun to get hit by a marx...
thanks man, now im gonna go get some parts.
It could, If the output is rectified. Marx Generators run on DC.
could a ignition coil drove by a 555 timer/2n3055 run the marks generator? 5 stars
also I have gotten shocked but this! think of it as the WORST static shock you ever had of then multiply by 50
I know it didn't get to 570KV! the input voltage was only 10KV maybe less there were 38 caps altogether so the max voltage possible with 10KV input is 380kv if the input voltage was 15kv (the rating of the caps- most of them have died at 10KV) then the max would be 570KV it takes about 10KV to jump 1 cm in this video the sparks are about 30cm long so about 300KV I don't think the spark gaps are set up properly so they break down early
No they don't; the input voltage is around 10kv. The max voltage the caps are rated for is 15kv.
