I've a kompressor from 2002 you'll never snap it, actually the action on it now's better than when I bought it
@@SpiralMoss Best rods out there in my opinion
What's that music? Love the video ❤
Let me check :)
That's breathtaking bruv, good thing you went out
Cheers mate :)
That's beautiful mate. Gonna try to make that in Unreal Engine
Cheers mate. I had to Google Unreal Engine, does that make me old haha
Wow, that long tailed tit was so cute
This is wild!
@@millythemermaid29 Highlight of 2024 😁
Didn't know surf like that a Kimmeridge!
It's rare, but can kick up a surf in the right conditions
@@coasttocountry What about Chapman's Pool.. does the cove channel the breakers?
@@seamanjiveYou get a point break off the western side of the cove. Seen a couple of guys there before
I have fished there alot in the past. I might have to revisit it this year I think. ❤
@@hit-n-runfishing Nice mate. I did a UA-cam video of my recent trip there. I think I had 3 bream and 4 bass 😁
Tide? 🌊
@@conorcassidy8336 The storms took it eventually 😂
Stunning place Dave. Beautiful Photos. Must get down there next year ........ or now lol Take care 🎣🎣
@@mukiwa09 Haha thankyou mate. I hope work isn't too busy with the run up to Christmas
@@coasttocountry been okay leading up to Chtistmas, gentle couple of weeks ahead.
I've camped in the caves at Durdle Door , found the sound of the waves too loud for a decent kip
Oh nice! Ye the waves seem to be extra loud around there with the cliffs behind you
Sick video dude, have 2 questions, first is can you get out to here at any point or does the tide cut you off, and second is are those rebar looking things you had the rods leaning on fixed there or have I mistaken it for something you brought?
I can get out there at any state of tide but it's pretty dodgy and I wouldn't recommend it. Check it out and decide for yourself but be warned its pretty dangerous and can be extremely slippery, especially if there's moisture in the air. Plenty of places to put a rod, not many places to put your gear though 😂
You had me at dodgy😂 but the caution is noted dude cheers! Gonna give it a go this weekend and see whats about 🤘
Haha 🤣 Just be careful out there mate. Let me know how you get on!
Nice sesh, where do you park up btw?
Cheers mate. Tyneham car park, however, it shuts at sunset. The only option to fish at night is a very very long walk!
Jeez Dave, you're like a mountain Goat on those Rocks! I would have been in amongst the Fishies within minutes, and I can't swim !! Some lovely Bass and a Bream for Tea - got to be good. Fantastic scenery again too. Bream & Spuds looked epic. All caught up with yours now, can't say the same to the rest I sub to! Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
It certainly had it all! Might try for another bream this weekend, weather looks like it going to play ball. Hope you're finding time to get out and about
Another great video Dave - didn't realise I was two behind with yours! Lovely Bream and fabulous scenery. Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
Thanks as always mate, appreciate the kind words. Stay safe
Nice video uk needs more people like you exploring the country and waters 👊🫡🐐
Cheers mate. I hope to explore more of the UK next year
Sick video! Have you ever ventured just around that right hand corner to bacon hole? Some awesome secluded marks and a secret pirate/smugglers cave with the wall and door still in tact, superb shelter from the elements
Cheers bud. I have indeed, great spot for luring and snorkeling. I fished from the stack once, that was interesting in the dark. The slope is also fun, but your calf muscle will never be the same again after a few hours on there haha
@@coasttocountry never done the stack but now that I know someone has and is still here Ill be having a crack this weekend 😂🤘
@@samsheerman There has been a rock fall on the stack so be careful mate
was waiting for this vid to come out, i was the guy who came up to you on the tout and had a quick chat and go with my lure rod, awesome vid mate, glad you got the bream you were after, and what a spot to cook at, i spent my childhood under that bridge were by, some good trout down there as well as some decent grayling slightly further down, shame its a private stretch now :'(
Good to meet you mate! I didn't have any more bass after you left, I think you arrived an hour too late! 3 of them were over low, something to bear in mind next time. Hopefully bump into you again sometime, maybe when the surf kicks up at Kimmeridge 🤙
Far be it for me to tell you how to go about rock fishing but if I was in your shoes I would definitely be wearing a lightweight chest floatation device. Just would hate to think of you having a serious accident without a life jacket.
Cheers mate, I have considered that. I'll see what's available for future. Thanks
Cheers for the shout mate😃👊🏻… we all use a packet from time to time, no judging here! Some lovely fish there, that pout was just stunning colours. You really do pick some fantastic marks. Looking forward to the next one 👊🏻😎👍👍
Brilliant video again, a few nice fish topped off by a can of cider, doesn’t get much better than that.
Superb upload matey! That pot looked awesome too 😋
Cheers mate. Food was epic 😙
nice one mate good session there, used to fish on the tout a lot years back, cracking area to fish as well as the bay shame its not always available. well done buddy👌
Cheers mate. It was a busy sesh, I really didn't want to leave! I think next time I'll target tope with big mackerel baits
@@coasttocountry i was down there a month or so back the bass and mackerel were there and had to walk away tragic lol, will keep my eye out for the tope session,
Perfect catch! Well done!
Thankyou mate 😊
Quality mate, well done!
Cheers mate! 6 blanks on the bream and then 3 in 2 trips. Love it!
Nice video 👍
Thankyou mate
Well done mate, the Purbecks are very hard to fish and any form of success on them is a trophy- I know a couple of anglers that do really well on the Purbecks and most of my sessions down there are blanks-the only place that I can expect to catch is Winspit, but where you are and other marks along that coast can be hit and miss. But well done-I would love to get a bream and a pout off that particular mark!
Ye you're right there mate. Winspit is a great mark and it's nice to not lose loads of gear. Fossil is probably my favourite, I have seen (and lost) some massive fish along there. Tight lines mate
Great video and great bream. This channel is looking good.
Thankyou mate. Hope you're good
@@coasttocountry all's well here. Rough seas for the past three days. Nice and lively.
Good stuff. Ye I always forget that Swanage faces a different direction and am surprised to see it so lively down there when other beaches are flat. I'll definitely be out with the lures at some point today!
Them marks look mega 🤙🌊
Spoilt for choice, for sure! 😄
That is a stunning looking fish buddy & very well deserved. Well done Dave 😎👍👍
Thankyou mate 😚 hopefully I find a beast soon
Have been watching your vids with interest since subscribing a week or so ago - I live in Langton Matravers and fish these spots quite regularly, Dancing Ledge is particularly good at night though not many brave it thanks to the killer hill! Great vids btw, all the best to you and tight lines pal 👍
I am very jealous! Thankyou mate. I have fished Dancing Ledge a few times at night but prefer this quarry as it seems to be a bit cleaner. Do you bait fish at Dancing Ledge? All the best
Nice one mate. Great effort.
Cheers matie
Nice one Dave, lovely spot mate. Well done on landing a bream. Tight lines for your next session mate.
Thankyou mate! 😊
Trangia friend!
Friendddddd 😂😂😂😂
Great video and amazing photographs!
Cheers mate 🙏
Another great video Dave! Keith did well with his mix of species! Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
Thankyou mate. You too
A really good adventure for me, really enjoyed it and somehow you made me look good fishing! I am so chuffed with the Wood Henge picture, everything aligned, milky way, fire in the eyes, shooting star and very atmospheric setting. Also good to see what you were up to in the cave. Thanks again for the adventure mate.
Plenty more to come! Man of the moment. Shame you didn't film your trip today
Well done lads, that green wrasse was like a lime! Stunning bream & Milky Way too😍 I’ll pass on the swimming though mate, looked Baltic 😂 take care all 👊🏻😎👍👍
Cheers mate, it was a great sesh. The sea was surprisingly warm! Couldn't persuade Keith to have a dip though 🤣
As a foreigner, my view of England was a grey industrial country. I was wrong but then I moved to Dorset and I realised I was very wrong. I can believe my eyes sometimes how beautiful Dorset is.
Dorset, Cornwall, Devon and Somerset are all stunning. Lots of hidden gems ❤
Should have fished pulpit rock or by the cranes near the bill .
I fish there too 👍
What rods & reals do you use? 👍👍
I use Kompressor Super Sports for most of my fishing but I also have a pair of Zziplex Hiflex M4 GT's that I use for smaller species. Reel wise, I have 4 Penn Fathoms for long casting, Sloshes that I use for short range and rough ground and a couple of fixed spools with braid for wrasse and bream on the rocks 😊
Why did you put the big bass back?
My mate is vegetarian so I did it out of respect
You’re a better man than me 😂
Stunning pics Dave. Legend as always x
😘🥰😍
I found you from your meet up having breakfast with some framily. ❤DD5❤
Sorry which meet up was this?
@@coasttocountry the breakfast one, on Mt. Magizine
That had a cool castaway feel about it! Nice Bass!👌🏼
Cheers mate
How do I get here tried it yesterday and couldn’t find the spot anywhere
@@freddie1546 It's just west of Dancing Ledge. Follow the coast path and you can't miss it
Awesome!!!
😁
Great video Dave! Some excellent design & construction skills there! Loving these driftwood project videos. Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
Ah, brilliant Dave - impressed you took a hammer down. Sick crib man!
My favourite videos on UA-cam! I fish the same places but nowhere near as adventurous as you I need to start doing some over nights it looks like a lot of fun
