my favorite tune
Nice! As THE Rush fan, I listen to tons of covers, but I don't recall ever hearing someone else do this Intro. Well done!
Excellent!!!!!!!!thanks
Definitely you are so too cool 😎. Excellent work
I was willing you to break into "The Trees" as per Exit Stage Left...... Beautifully done
Literally the BEST cover I've heard of this song! Precise, with feel, and tempo is amazing! Thank you for sharing. I'm a huge RUSH fan, a musician, and can hear the details in your beautiful playing. I could hear the next transition into the Trees in my head but love how you sustain-held-ended it.
Alex was always more interested in creating mood, atmosphere and feeling than being like "let me show off my technical prowess for no reason".
Great cover! Nick would be proud. As an aside you look a bit like Brett Anderson too. Cheers!
wow
be you tea full
Para mí esta canción es como un Picasso! Muy bonita!
¡gracias!
Fantastic! Your rendition is really beautiful
Excellent!
AHA! It's YOU.
i love Degrassi's pieces and listened to this one so many times, your rendition is smooth and enjoyable. Very nice job!
👍👍👍
Wow! So beautiful. Thank you
Bravo, possibly the best rendition of my favourite piece of music I've heard 👏🏻
wow, thank you!
Beautiful rendition. so smooth. shamefull so few likes
You have some skills very impressed
Gteat feel for dynamics and tempo. Very contemplative listen. Top shelf 👌
Beautiful playing. Barrios is by far my favorite composer on guitar, his music is so moving and powerful.
Outstanding performance. Amazing job. 🔥👏🔥
Fantastic playing Robb! Thank You! The Sleeping lady is Mount Tamalpais over the GG Bridge in Marin named by the Indians who lived in the area.
I never knew that! Thanks!
Seriously my man, that is really nice.
thanks! :)
Beautifully and subtly played
I play it exactly the same…. Good job…… I play by ear….. don’t know how to read music….. I’m glad to see there was no mistake’s.
Awesome
Well done😊
Great playing! Very accurate. Lerxst!
Thanks! 🌨🐶
Awesome
Sweet! Nice touch.
Thanks, Robb.
Brilliant execution.
Your Grandmother would be thrilled to see your wall hangings. Well done.
Very, very well done Sir!
Hey this is beautiful, I love it. But then it’s written by Antonio Lauro, probs my all time fav.
Great job. You really played with feeling, which is so important for this song. I like what you did from 1:12 - 1:18.
Hey, thanks!
Amazing, thank you very much.
😮😢😮😢😮😢So beautiful.
Superbly well done, and your guitar sounds excellent. I have to wonder why you didn’t tune down and capo 2. Is it just b/c you like the open sound of the full strings?
Thank you! I just don’t enjoy playing with a capo - I get muddled about what position to use because the fret markers are all at different spots. It throws me off. I have started tuning down a half step for this tuning - de Grassi uses it often, and at concert pitch without a capo it’s a lot of tension for the left hand. Tuning down a step makes things easier.
Beautiful! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You play so beautifully ❤️
Aww, thank you!
@@robb.s you’re welcome ☺️
I have enjoyed your interpretation, very nice.
thank you very much!
This is such an exquisite composition from the genius songwriter Alex Lifeson. Beautifully played! Alex seems to have always been overshadowed and not given the recognition he so well deserves.
His band mates felt the same.
Beautiful
Love it great interpretation
thank you! :)
You Da man
This Alex Lifeson guy is good. He should play with a band.
If only he had thought of that fifty years ago...
It's never too late.. even could do distance electronic collaboration. Bassist here.. ahem.. hehe
Wonderful.
