I believe it is out duty to preserve and share these songs with everyone instead of letting them get lost to time or stuck in a collector's hands who will never share them. Here is the second side to Jenny Jay's single, "Judy's Turn To Cry", titled "Leave Me Alone". This single was recorded and released in 1981 and my copy was autographed by Jenny Jay, pictured in the video. Jenny also recorded a version of "It's My Party" the same year, soon to be posted here as well. This seems to be a pretty rare record, possibly only a few copies pressed.
I am not sure if this is a cover or an original song by Jenny, but it's a great song either way!

A catchy hidden gem synth-pop track by Lisa Lee. The B-Side is "Goner", which is also a great synth-pop track. Lisa Lee was also featured in the soundtrack to the 1985 film "Radioactive Dreams" where she contributed the track "Eat You Alive", which is another great synth-pop song played in the film's club scene.

This version is performed by Karla Jayne And The Boogie Man Orchestra for Boogie Man Records, a label that focused on Disco music in the 70s. Karla does a good job and really makes the song her own, and I found it funny that she adds the lyrics "die if I want to" in addition to the "cry if I want to" line.

So many memories. Brenda has been my best friend since high school. She really tried and should have made it all the way Times were so different then. We use to go to Nashville when we were young (15,16) and she would sing at George Jones, Faron Youngs and Ernest Tubbs Record shop. She opened for Lorretta Lynn and Freddy Fender, Jerry Lee Lewis. She could have made it to being the opening act. We mailed and dropped off this record and others to many djs and radio stations. Times were different, no You Tube or social media just hard work and she was one of the hardest workers I know. Love you girl ❤️ You are a 🌟!
