$3400 for the unit total so my portion is $1800 for the master + den :)

I believe I mentioned it a little bit in my video but here’s some of my advice! 1) Offer to pay a tiny more upfront 1-3 months of rent and show strong proof of savings or a reliable income stream. Lots of landlords will accept employment letters signed by your employer or bank statements! 2) Look for sublets or rooms off of Facebook Marketplace or Facebook rental groups as people looking for roommates can be less strict about formal things like a credit check. 3) Make sure you get a credit card asap so you can start building a good credit score. This would also work well combined with the second option as you can find a short term sublet in the meantime. Most people can build a credit score within 3-6 months!

I got this apartment last year so it’s definitely MUCH better than the prices now haha
