Beginners Guide to DIY Screen Printing T-Shirts
There was no reflux at all because you didnt have the condensor to make it rain back down.
You need a 85% copper still to produce good quality alcohol from grains, fruit, or syrup.
When you’re not using the carbon filter, how do you keep mold or other biological growth from developing inside the keg?
🤔Man, you should come to Bulgaria in October when the Rakia is boiling. 😂 Made from a grapes, peaches, plumps, pears or some other local fruits.
Doesn't the start of the run contain methyl alcohol? Wouldn't you throw that away because it's not safe to drink? In a typical run, methyl comes first because it's boiling point is slightly lower than ethyl alcohol.
Came for the "how to" on growing turmeric and ginger. Stayed for the method and the results. Great work!
Vegemite is yeast extract from the brewing industry. They also caramelise the vegemite and add salt etc to give that very dark appearance. Without this step it would be chocolate or brown in colour. In the US, because yeast extract is a waste product from the beer brewing industry it cant be legally sold as a food product for humans. (Funnily enough you can call the yeast extract your target product and the beer as a waste stream. In this case you can sell the yeast extract as a food but the beer could not be sold for consumption. And we cant have tgat😂 It's a technicality and classification issue)
Watching this like "Is that Hoocho?!?!" Yep sure is. Subscribed. 😁
Love the name of your channel
Love the marshall amp tap
So can anyone confirm that you just run it at 2000w when you have it up to temp, no need for anything to control the power input on the pot still?
Why are you doing a stripping run=less flavor?? Low and slow=flavor
Hi, I'm from Iran and I don't have access to white oak. Is red oak poisonous for aging whiskey?
I would love to do this at home with a buddy . I love making this stuff
I have used the ultra Sonic’s as well. There could be the argument of soaking and mellowing etc but it’s a good method . I have done this and works great . Similarly high high frequency contacts on a barrel works or even vibration
What is the digital alcohol meter you have called?
It’s an Anton parr easy dense
Hi Hoocho, I've just spent a whole day going through all your videos on All the gear no idea. I was looking for the one were you go into detail about your Liquor License but can't find!!! Cheers
You should try to ultrasonic age, buffalo trace white dog
🤔 wonder if it would work with a 3D printer using ASA filament?
not really laminar flow..the flame is no steady.. there bound to be eddy in the flow... maybe tune down a bit of the strength of the fan
Can I get a link to your ginger growing video please
Yeah Mate: ua-cam.com/video/I7fByDXYSvk/v-deo.html
Top work. What ABV was coming out of the column using this configuration?
really nice❤
In Germany bio ginger is 7€/kg lol
i love spirits of all kind with their own unique history process and flavors , well made video mate i appreciate it good job but the distillation part was getting a bit confusing at least from my perception of what a sour mash is where you take a portion of the left over cast and use it to make more mash which is distilled twice and that is it, but you kept mixing your casts with more low wine and so on i got confused with the process perhaps different with rums than bourbon etc,, i made a banana brandy and used the left over cast for a sugar wash perhaps using inverted sugar i cant recall but after resting it for months at 40%and then doing a chill filtration the stuff was tasting like an amazing fruity flavored vodka or rum , i am now aging some of it on toasted oak strips and i hope it comes out lovely after maybe 6 mo
That chiller tho
If you took sufficient fore shot cuts out of your previous stripping runs there really is no need to take them out again in your spirit run, as there hasn't been any additional methanol or acetyls produced. At that point the only thing that you could call that is a secondary heads cut. Not a bad idea, but certainly not what I would consider a second fore-shot cut. Other than that an excellent video.
I actually have a problem with the whole concept of foreshots. Though it’s in my verbal muscle memory. In reality there only exists heads hearts and tails. Because heads will always be discarded so the differentiation is moot. Heads and foreshots can be used interchangeably rather than referring to separate things. That being said. I’m always super careful with the heads I remove. Purely for the fact that it can taint the flavour of a whole batch which takes a lot of effort. I guess it’s just an extra level of certainty I like.
@@AllTheGear-NoIdea We are on the same page. I'm with you in that they both go the same place, regardless of what they are called. Thrown out !! No need to keep it if it doesn't taste good. Thanks for the clarification. Thanks for responding and my best to you and yours in this new year. --den
Nice job. What brand is the app connected temperature probe system?
It’s an inkbird wifi Bluetooth thermometer, the app is native to it.
Easily the best neutral spirit video I have ever watched. I have not yet seen the poly still in the USA. Anyone know if it has made it over the pond?
It’s not yet available in the US yet. I will put a post up when it is 😊
Azeotrope for ethanol water is maximum 95.63%, not 96%!!! That still is running as pure as you can get!
Oh nuts, you’re right. Just looked deeper. Kinda crazy 🤣👌🏻 Cheers for the correction
Please do a link up with Jesse at Still It!
I’d love to haha
Great video! What size SPP did you use and how many bags did it take you to fill the seven sections in the end?

@@AllTheGear-NoIdea Good score 👌.
Nice vid mate very informative and easy to follow Are you going to make something with Apple/cinnamon taste in the future?
What are the clear sections made of, if you don't mind.
No worries they’re made of Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU)
Can you do a tequila run in one of your vids.
Absolutely yes 😂👌🏻
Your channels should have more subscribers-so in depth and educational!
Thanks BDaddy 😂
Ginseng infused vodka? 🙃
Everything infused vodka!
@@AllTheGear-NoIdea No sweaty sox I hope. 😆
BIG DOG!!! yes mate, I'm looking forward to this one! Glad to see your passions going so well
This one was one I needed to knock down to get to the one I’m real excited for 🤣 Gin.
@AllTheGear-NoIdea hell yeah, I'm not sure if it's close to you up there. But I went to a distillery up there once called 'mt uncle distillery' they had a 'bushfire smoked gin' it's incredible. A unique smell and taste to a traditional gin.
Please do a collaboration with Jesse from Still It!!!!🙏🙏
Oh yes please
How many kg of SSP did you need to full the plastic ? What item stops SSP from falling down into the kettle?
Each Bag of spp fills 1.25 sections, and I used a mesh embedded 3 inch triclover seal to stop it falling through. Video coming out soon.
@ good man, thank you :-)
Was wondering if you would be getting one of these. So cool. Will be interested to see how it goes for you and your thoughts. Bit of hate for it on the forums due to the plastic, but don't know if that's well founded or just general haters doing their thing 🤔
I've been waiting for another distilling video and got the condenser🎉
Der name des Kanals und wo er den Eimer zum Flüssigkeiten auffangen drauf gestellt hat… hat mich zum schmunzeln gebracht :D
😬🤯
I just found out you have a second channel, and I'm not disappointed. I loved the video. Can't wait to see you make mead with your own honey. If you're interested in a mead making channel check out City Steading Brews they're great and explain a lot.
well done , thanks for sharing
Awesome video. I grow a lot of ginger in the garden and I usually use it for soda type drinks. Using my ginger bug . I did have a batch that fermented on accident and it was good for me but the kids weren’t so pleased. I have always wondered if I could actually do a ginger beer. You saved me a lot of work with this video. I’m going to give it a shot. You have a sub and a like from me.
